One of Hidalgo's most beautiful and unique private reserves. Located 2:25 hours from Mexico City and one hour from Huasca, the cabin is literally on top of a mountain, surrounded by a pristine forest. We work closely with our community to ensure a wonderful and safe stay. The cabin is rented on exclusive for up to 6 people for same price. You will completely disconnect from civilization, taste organic food and walk in some of Hidalgo's last virgin forests. WiFi hotspot in the preserve's access.

The space
Hidalgo has some of Mexico's most beautiful ecosystems; the reserve is located on top of mountains overlooking valleys that stretch as far as the Gulf of Mexico, providing amazing views. It takes around one hour of intense walking from the entry of the reserve to the top of the mountain. Horses are available if you can't walk to the top. If you don't want to walk and prefer to stay on the low part of the reserve, we invite you to look at the new treehouse also advertised in Air in Tenango de Doria.

One of our team members will see you at a gas station in a toll highway. From there we will guide you to the reserve. If you don't have a car, one of our team members can pick you up in Tulancingo and take you to the reserve at an additional cost.

The house has 5 beds and can sleep 6 people; a double bed is found in an attic that can sleep two people. Clean sheets are provided. The Spanish wood stove provides delicious heat to the entire cabin and can be used to cook food. There is a restroom with WC and shower.

We have one WiFi hotspot located at the preserve's access some 60 minutes away from the cabin in case you need to check email or use messaging. Certain spots at the preserve catch the Telcel 4G signal.

You are welcomed to bring your own food and drinks; however, for a very modest amount, a local cooker can prepare excellent local food and bring it to you to the top of the mountain.

We also have two camping tents imported from Chile; we can install them on the very peak of the mountain, providing an amazing experience in the wild.

Regarding security, it is important to note that the reserve is completely secluded; our team of locals (all of whom live in an small rural community outside the reserve and work for us) will ensure you have a safe and memorable stay.
