Inside: two queen beds, loft, kitchenette, and full bath—everything you need, nothing you don’t.
Step outside and it changes—private hot tub, fire under the stars, dinner with nothing but sky above you.
People come for the dome… but that’s not why they don’t want to leave.

Guest access
This is a private, freestanding geodome on its own site with a private entrance and free parking on the premises. The dome is all on one level. You have access to the entire dome, the deck, the hot tub and the fire pit. Entry is by keyless door code, which we send to you before arrival.
Please respect our neighbors and all posted private property. Do not enter or hike on private land, even if it appears vacant. In particular, please do not approach or walk on the property at the end of the road in the cul-de-sac with the chain barrier and no trespassing sign. Many properties in the area are under video surveillance.

Night Sky Dome wasn't built to be just another stay. It was built for the part of a trip people actually remember - the slow evening, the wide-open sky, the night nobody wants to end.
The dome sits on a private site in the Wilkes County mountains of North Carolina, tucked into the foothills near Widow Mountain. Inside, 850 square feet of climate-controlled comfort: two queen beds - one in the bedroom, one in the loft - a full kitchenette and a full bath. Everything you need, nothing you don't. Outside is where it changes. A private hot tub. A fire pit. An outdoor kitchen and a table under nothing but sky.
Pets are welcome here, because the best trips don't leave anyone at home. Up to two pets, with a $150 pet fee, arranged with us in advance. Pet rules are included in the rental agreement for you to review and agree to.
