Very wise location as it is very near to the airport approximately 10-15 mins via Cab. Just be mindful about the location as it took me hours from Yangon to get there since the driver can't recognize the location. This place is basically the first and last place you'll stay when you go in and out of Myanmar. Very friendly manager, who speaks around 6-7 languages. This place is very "international" as you get to see many nationalities visiting Myanmar. They will be serving a decent breakfast as well to keep you ready for your day. I recommend to stay here for future travelers.

I will definitely be back. It's my first time trying out a hostel experience by myself in a more developing country. When I arrived, my local friends were initially very concerned which freaked me out a bit. But, everything was really okay! (I suppose locals can be a bit more cautious) And Roly's having a guest book filled with Thank Yous from people all over the world who have stayed there was VERY reassuring. :) I honestly really enjoyed being at Roly's. Staying here felt like I was in a little homestay. :) The breakfast and amenities are pretty simple (bread and spread, banana and a fried egg), but it made my experience in Yangon so lovely. I loved observing Magneht and his family. :) It's a bit far off from Downtown, but just Grab or Uber and you'll be alright. Can't wait to be back!

Originally, Yu Wei agreed I could check in early but I could not get in touch with Yu Wei the day before check in so we had no idea how to check in to the hotel. It turned out okay but one if the staff was very unfriendly.

Really ideal to be near the airport. Staff very friendly.

Location is pretty good. If you got Yangon at night, it might be a good spot to stay.

Very recommended. We arrived at night and he came to pick us up to the airport (3$). Next day he took me to the train station. Manghet was very helpful, any doubt we had, he happily helped us. Very nice walk from the train to the hostel going through the village.
