Set in a rural spot, but close to the A470 and Quakers Yard Train Station, on the South Wales Metro.
Halfway between Cardiff City Centre and Pen y Fan, we are ideally suited for a weekend in the bright lights of Cardiff, or the stunning dark skies of the Beacons.
Locally we are within walking distance to several cosy pubs that serve food, a convenience store and the Taff Trail Cycle Path.

Welcome to our delightful non-working farm, a warm and inviting escape that promises a unique experience for your getaway! This charming retreat comfortably accommodates up to four guests, making it an ideal choice for families or friends looking to relax and reconnect with nature.
**Features:-
- **Sleeping Arrangements:** Camp Luciana has twin beds (that can be arranged as a king-size bed on request) and two single camp beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep for all guests. Please note:- bedding is provided, but please bring your own towels.
- **Breathtaking Views:** Enjoy spectacular views that surround the barrel, providing a beautiful backdrop for your stay and opportunities for outdoor exploration.
- **Undercover BBQ Area:** Embrace the outdoor lifestyle with our undercover BBQ fire pit area, where you can grill up delicious meals and enjoy evenings under the stars. Please bring your own charcoal.
*Fully Equipped Shared Kitchen & Facilities:** A separate covered shared kitchen with full facilities allows you to prepare meals with ease. There is a fridge, hobs, kettle, microwave, pots and pans, plates and cutlery.
There is also space for you to store your food (please bring in your own air-tight boxes), and a washing up area with washing liquid. Plus, enjoy modern shower and toilet facilities for your convenience.
*We have ample of parking, with a secure barn if required.
****New for 2026**** A fenced four acre field for dogs to run wild in. No extra charge! (just pick up their mess and dispose of in the bin provided).
Well behaved dogs are welcome, but please do not leave them unattended in the property.
- **Expanded Capacity:** For larger parties or families, there’s an option to bring a tent and camp beside the tent (additional payment required for this), allowing you to enjoy even more space and comfort.

I look forward to welcoming you all to my tranquil piece of paradise, here on the site of my Grade II listed, 17th Century Welsh Longhouse, Berthlwyd Farm.
My lifelong passion for motorcycles and everything motorsport has seen me compete all over the world. As the the first Welsh person to complete the world renowned, Paris to Dakar Rally and the first Brit to finish the brutal, Malle Moto, I certainly have some interesting stories to tell.
