Welcome to Hampshire House – Your Home in the Heart of Kingston
Originally built in 1855, Hampshire House is a lovingly restored 2107 square feet, 4-bedroom, 4 floor century home nestled in the historic Sydenham Ward. With its warm character, modern comforts, and unbeatable location, it’s the perfect place to relax, explore, and make some beautiful memories,
Inside, you’ll find high ceilings, exposed brick, romantic lighting, and plenty of space for families and groups. From the cozy living room with a gas fireplace to the large dining room with a harvest table and piano, every corner invites connection and comfort.
Upstairs, each bedroom offers a unique and peaceful retreat - including a dreamy top-floor suite with its own clawfoot tub and ensuite bathroom. The kids’ room is a little world of its own with bunk beds, books, toys, and nightlights, while the library nook and cozy basement lounge offer space to unwind at every turn.
Step outside into a fully enclosed backyard with patio seating, and plenty of room to play. Walk just a few blocks and you’ll find yourself at the waterfront, the market, the Wolfe Island ferry, cafes and many of Kingston’s incredible restaurants. We’re also just a short stroll from Queen’s University - perfect for campus visits, graduations, or events.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire house, including all four bedrooms, four bathrooms, the cozy basement, fully equipped kitchen, and bright open living/dining spaces. You’ll also enjoy exclusive use of the fully enclosed backyard with patio seating and a hammock. One free parking space is included in the private driveway. Make yourself completely at home — this space is all yours during your stay!
