Lake House at Peigneur is located on a small family compound. There are no fences separating the properties but Cajuns tend to be pretty friendly so don't be surprised if a neighbor waves hello or offers some food! And you will most likely be greeted by a VERY friendly labradoodle :)

Guests may park underneath the house (maximum overhead clearance 6ft 8 in).

Other things to note
Our lake house is located in cajun country, with just a short drive to local cities Abbeville, New Iberia, Youngsville, and Lafayette.

While you're here you should consider visiting historical locations such as Rip Van Winkle Gardens at Jefferson Island and Tabasco plant and Jungle Gardens at Avery Island.

Lake House at Peigneur is perfectly situated for relaxing, boating, fishing, kayaking, and especially attending local festivals such as Shrimp Festival, Sugar Cane Festival, Festival Acadians, Festival Internationale de Louisiane, Rice Festival, etc.

Also consider our property for your upcoming sports tournament. We are within 15 miles to St Julien Park at the Broussard Sports Complex, 11 miles to the Youngsville Sports Complex, 16 miles to Abbeville, and 18 miles to New Iberia.
