3 guests in our 30s, for 3 nights in early September; we found the place perfect for our needs (i.e. chilling on the beach). Communication with Eric was excellent and, although we did not utilise Saida's assistance with things, Saida was kind and punctual with handing keys over. We enjoyed eating meals on the terrace of Eric's place but running up/down the stairs to fetch things from the kitchen is perhaps not suitable for everyone. You cannot see the sea from the terrace although you can see the rooftops of the neighbourhood if you climb higher up - it is more of a safe haven than a viewing platform. There is no internet or mobile signal on the ground floor, which we didn't mind. The location is great, right in the thick of things, and there is a friendly vibe from the locals.

La Baraka is a beautiful house in the medina of Essauira, near the most important points of the old city and with possibility of parking at 5 minutes by walk. When we arrived Essauira Saida was waiting us at the meeting point to facilitate our arrival to the house. It's a house with attractive decoration and several special corners, especially the terrace on the roof, which make the house an interesting place to stay in Essaouira for a few days. The only problem we had is that we didn't get to run internet properly. To have Wifi you need to recharge a prepaid card that Saida puts at your disposal on your arrival from 20 DH, but was quite slow and disconnected continuously. The experience was nice and I wouldn't hesitate to repeat at Eric's house if I go back to Essaouira.

Really nice house with a little terrace. There are 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. Perfect location in the medina, nearby the sea and the beach. Only one critique : the wifi and phone signal that weren't working.

First I must say that Essaouira is a must see in Morocco. Eric's place has very good value for what you pay. A rooftop, a very nice lady showing you around, very cute interior design, equipped kitchen and peace and quiet despite the place being in the medina. That said, our room did not have windows, and the wifi was not working. It did not bother us as we were staying only 2 nights, but longer would have been a bit difficult in that exact room.
