This was our first stay at an airbnb and Becca set the bar really high! Her home was so lovely and beautifully restored. I am a travel writer, so I do have a fair amount of travel experiences, and Becca was the perfect host. Her guest suite is both homey and comfortable but also felt like a little luxury boutique hotel--great mattress and linens, and we loved the sitting room just off the bedroom, and the bathroom is nice and large. Located on a quiet street in the charming historic district of New Bern, the waterfront and local restaurants and bars are an easy, enjoyable walk.

Perhaps one of the most perfectly appointed and comfortable AIRBNBs we've stayed at. Becca is a wonderful and responsive host and her home is lovely, comfortable and peaceful. The outside of the house is deceiving because the inside opens up to a beautifully designed and renovated historical home. It is in walking distance of a lovely town that offer great restaurants and interesting shops. We look forward to staying with Becca when we travel to New Bern again. Thank you for a lovely and peaceful stay in your beautiful home!

Communications with Becca were excellent. Beautifully restored home on a quiet street in downtown New Bern. Accomodations were clean and comfortable. Nice bedroom with comfortable bed, nice sitting area with TV and nicely updated bathroom. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

Wow. Staying at Becca's house was like being in a five-star hotel. No detail was overlooked. You'll have a bedroom, sitting room, and private bathroom. The photos here really don't do this suite justice -- the house looks better, if you can imagine that, than depicted. I think Becca must be an interior designer in the making because everything looked ready for the House Beautiful photographers in this historic house that she and her husband lovingly restored. Impeccably clean and Becca provided toiletries such as deodorant, razors, etc., in case you missed bringing something from home. The house is also situated within walking distance of anything you'd want to see in New Bern.

Becca's home was beautiful! We loved the historic aspect and our suite was clean, well-decorated and clearly had a lot of effort put into it. I'm a real estate agent and usually I'm the one who is appreciating the interiors of homes, but this time my boyfriend was ranting and raving about how nice everything was, from maps to bottled water to mini sample toiletries. We loved our stay and I wish we had booked it for a few nights instead of just one!! We'll definitely come back to New Bern and stay here again! Thank you Becca!

Becca's place is really gorgeous. It is a fantastic suite in a beautiful historic home that has been decorated really beautifully and thoughtfully. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was fantastic with a beautiful bathtub. Becca is a lovely host and you can see that in the many little thoughtful touches around the house. The location was very good too with downtown only a short walk away with its many quaint shops and restaurants. Great value for money, and very highly recommended for anyone planning to stay in New Bern.

I'm a Gulf Coast native from the border of Alabama/Florida who discovered this little slice of heaven in Eastern North Carolina in 2011. My husband, Zach, and I renovated our 1885 home in the Historic District of New Bern with our own two hands and turned it into our dream home. After 3 years of renovations, I finally had a home that I absolutely loved to entertain in -- making AirBnB the perfect fit for doing just that!
