Make this spacious & private Uptown apartment your home for an amazing NOLA vacation! Full kitchen, comfy queen beds (independent bedrooms, not shotgun), tub/shower in each bathroom, screen porch & yard with deck & gas grill!
Off-street parking is available, but Uber, Lyft, & taxis are plentiful (about $10 to the French Quarter). This central location has convenient access all over the city. Walk to Tulane Stadiums!
Please message me if you need a later date than what I currently have open!
Furnished with a tasteful mix of antiques and contemporary pieces, this apartment has large windows and gets a ton of light. Both bedrooms have blackout curtains for a great night's sleep, plus blinds so you can enjoy the sunshine during the day while maintaining privacy. High quality mattresses and linens. New carpet in both bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen with full-sized appliances, including dishwasher, microwave, programmable coffee maker, and gas stove. The 40" smart TV in the living room is set up for internet instead of cable. It also has an antenna that gets 36 local channels. Keyless front door entry and exterior security camera. In addition to the two queen beds, the sofa in the living room folds out into a single bed. Because it is extremely firm. I provide a foam "eggcrate" topper, which is in a zippered case in the hall bathroom linen closet. PLEASE NOTE: City of New Orleans regulations limit the number of guests to four (4). I provide toiletry basics, coffee and creamers, an assortment of tea, filtered water, umbrellas, and disposable rain ponchos. (You'll find the ponchos in the top drawer under the information binder.)
1400 square foot apartment with private entrance through a screened front porch - includes full kitchen, indoor laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer, and partially fenced backyard with deck and gas grill. The living room couch folds out into a single bed, and a foam topper is provided for added comfort. Record player and a collection of record albums are provided in the living room, along with several board games and puzzles. Earlier check-ins or late check-outs can often be accommodated. Just ask!
Interaction with guests
I live in the apartment upstairs. You might see me if we are arriving or leaving the house at the same time, or if you are outside enjoying the screened porch. I can make myself available if you need me, and if I'm stuck at work, I have friends and neighbors who can assist should an urgent situation arise.
Other things to note
Like many streets in New Orleans, this one is kinda bumpy! For a smoother drive, the best way to approach the house is from Fontainebleau (not from Claiborne). Be sure to share this tip with your Uber / Lyft drivers!
I provide a binder with helpful information about the house, neighborhood, nearby groceries, restaurant recommendations, etc.

Linens may not be removed from the house. We kindly ask that you use the purple towels and disposable wipes provided in both bathrooms to remove makeup, and use the cleaning rags provided in the laundry room for wiping up spills and other dirty jobs such as cleaning muddy shoes.
No eating in bed. No food or drink (except water) in carpeted areas.
Close the front door gently. Slamming it causes the house to shudder! Be mindful of the neighbors. Loud music and voices inside the house can carry over to the next house and into the upstairs apartment.
Smoking is not permitted inside the house, but is allowed on the screen porch.
I work in the film industry, and I'm also a realtor. (If you fall in love with New Orleans, I can help you find a home here!) My hobbies include swing dancing, and sprucing up items I find on the curb. I visit nursing homes once a month as a therapy team with my 3-legged silver Persian cat. I am a member of the Krewe of Underwear in Krewe du Vieux, and the All Wonder Woman Walking Krewe in Krewe of Chewbacchus.
