Your cottage is a pleasant 12 minutes drive from Huntsville and highway 11, a scenic 40 minute drive to Algonquin Park, and 2-1/2 hours from Toronto Pearson airport.
Your lakeside cottage is secluded and quiet, close to town on a good road, but lost in the forest.
Classic yet all the modern amenities, wifi, tv, indoor plumbing and shower, full kitchen, good cell service.
Your two bedroom cottage is great for couples, adventurers, business, families with older children 6 and over.

The space
This is where you come to relax, to wind down, to step away from the rat race...this is your space where ‘cottage time’ is the rule.
Hidden away in the trees your private waterfront cottage is 150 feet to the closest neighbour but only fifteen steps to the dock
A canoe, a row boat, a paddle boat ( or two paddle boats if you so request)
A small reading library, a humble selection of movies, a blu-Ray player and a 40” TV with satellite TV
And yes...Hot water!!
Also....bedding, pillows and Bath towels are supplied.
If you feel nostalgic and want a change from a flush toilet there’s a really REALLY nice clean outhouse
You will be pleasantly surprised when you arrive and by the end of your stay you won’t want to leave...

Guest access
The whole cottage is yours to enjoy, from the parking area to the diving dock and all areas in between.

Peaceful and generally quiet...you might hear youngsters laughing and playing in the lake, or just the usual sounds of happy people enjoying cottage life, you may hear loons or the frogs croaking at night, but you will not be bothered by the noise and smells of ski boats. A non-motorized lake means no PWC’s (sea-doo), no loud smelly boats, no water skiers, just canoes, paddle boats, row boats, fish and frogs. The lake is small, clean and uncrowded. But...if you want a bar scene night, well Huntsville has the #1 rated pub in Ontario, downtown and on the waterfront, always hopping and always fun.
Also some nice fishing right off your dock with large and small mouth bass, perch and pickerel.
The lookout in Huntsville is one of my favourite spots to take friends as is the ragged falls out towards Algonquin park.
If you don’t mind a day trip, then may I recommend a trip to Parry Sound for a 10,000 island boat tour or to Gravenhurst for a scenic tour on one of North America’s last remaining steam ship, The Winona.
Lots to do and see...but really? Just stay at the cottage and reconnect with nature , your family, your partner or yourself....
Ahhhhhh...cottage life!
