Comfy bed for better sleep

The room-darkening shades and extra bedding are loved by guests.
Oceanfront with stunning views of Howe Sound/Coastal Mountains (above photo). Close to town, ferry, restaurants. A 10 minute walk through our forest leads to our swimmable beach. Suite is newly renovated with stone fireplace insert, queen bed, new sofa bed, keyless entrance and private deck (bedding and towels provided). Kitchenette has microwave, small fridge, infra-red single burner, water dispenser, coffee/espresso makers, dishes, no sink (we do the dishes for you). BL#00000625

The space
The suite has its own entrance with a kitchenette (see description of kitchen amenities); large living room/bedroom with new queen bed, comfortable sofa bed and a new ensuite 3 piece bathroom (heated floor). There is a table and chairs by the huge picture window where you can eat your meals while enjoying the view. For rainy days we have games in the suite, DVDs or books to read while enjoying the fire or you can just watch the eagles overhead or the ferries passing by.

Guest access
Guests have their own private deck with a bistro table and comfortable chairs from which they can view the ocean and mountains. Guests will have access to the grounds where there are several sitting areas by the pond, shade garden and the fire pit overlooking the ocean. Please note: there are stairs. There is a lawn overlooking our beach with fire pit, table and benches where games can be played that can be reached via a winding path through our forest of cedar and Douglas fir.

Other things to note
The house is on a small cul de sac with only three homes. There is parking in our driveway beside the front gate. The path to the beach is rocky and best travelled in hiking or running shoes. We have many pairs of water shoes that you are welcome to borrow to wear on the beach. The property is forested. We have two pedal bikes you can borrow with notice to the host however Bowen is very hilly. Ebikes can be rented in the Cove. Business licence #: 00000625
