Privacy and nature on the edge of the Village with a deck onto the yard, laundry, and small kitchen. Relatively quiet residential street. Walk to trails (2min), the famous Bow Street Market (3min), LLBean (5min), restaurants (3-8min), movie theater (4min), and Amtrak (4min). Have the best of both worlds!
This space is great! It is clean, simple, modest, and super comfortable. The flooring is new Pergo-style (summer 2015). It is perfect for either a single/couple or a couple with one child. The bed is a queen Tempur-Pedic. Third and/or fourth guest can sleep on an air mattress. The yard is great for children too. What really makes this space unique is how separate it feels from the hustle and bustle of Freeport despite being just a few minutes walk away. Small TV does not have cable, but it does have DVD and we do have strong wireless.
Laundry in the bathroom, shower (no bath), private parking and entrance, small kitchen. All pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc. provided. If you need anything else, just ask! The loft you see the stairs going up to is not included.
Interaction with guests
We interact as much, or as little, as guests like. We are a teacher and an architect who are at work most days. We have three college-aged daughters who are sometimes at home and help us with the studio. We may need to access the laundry and if so would make arrangements to do so when it is convenient for you. The laundry/bathroom, connects our part of the house with the apartment. Locks, etc. are in place.
Other things to note
No pets please without prior arrangement. Please toss the sheets and towels in the wash before you go. Thanks!
Small, non-shedding dogs only, and please make arrangements with us beforehand. And, if you plan to have a small party with people who are not our guests, please let us know in advance. Lastly, please strip the bed and put all sheets, pillow cases, and towels in the wash before you leave. Thank you!
We are a busy family of five, when everyone is home that is! I'm a teacher at our local Waldorf school, Jason is an architect working in Boston most days, and one of our girls is at home and a senior in high school. Our twin girls are at Smith and Bates. We are pretty relaxed and relatively quiet, but we enjoy a crowd too. We all love meeting new people!
