Welcome to Avontuur - the Ark for Healing, Wellbeing and Inner Growth. A historic clipper located in the heart of the city center of Rotterdam, one of the most exciting cities in the world for travelers! Avontuur is more then just a lodging space, it is an experience. An open ashramic space that offers yoga, meditation, workshops and concerts, as well as massage, coaching and an amazing spa experience. We have three beautiful spaces available, the Cute Room, the Cozy Room, and the Captains Hut.

The space
A truly unique and rejuvenating experience. Your own private ark in the middle of the city centre. Flowing with the tides with the soothing sounds of the waves and the crackling of the fire place. Romantic, special and with all the amenities and comforts you are used to.

Guest access
You have your own entrance through the steer hut, where you can also lounge in the hammock, or enjoy the sunset on your own private roof terrace. Hammocks, cushions, mats and chairs are available in every space! You are also welcome to hang out on the main terrace area with the other guests.

Other things to note
You are on a historic ship! It is a clipper from 1913, so expect what i call dynamic living. There is a soft and gentle sway to be felt which most people find deeply comforting. If however you experience some nausea, it will pass after a few hours. Just remember, go with the flow!

Some stairs may be slightly steep, which helps to keep your body in shape.
