My home is located in Trumbull, CT - a small-town feel with New England character and charm close to family-friendly activities and restaurants and dining. Trumbull has the most recreational and open space per capita in the state of CT. You’ll love my place because of the location and close proximity to two parks. Good quiet location in trumbull We were there 6 nights This is our first experience in an airb&b as opposed to a traditionalb&b so I can't really comment on yet.

I am a medical allied professional traveler. Lovely home, very clean, but there was a few things that didn't make the stay so great. When I booked this room I mentioned to the host would it be okay to book weekly, they said no problem. When I got there it was apparent that book…

Response from Becca:
Hi Amanda - Its unfortunate that you felt un-welcome. We would hate if any of our guests felt that way and have never received this type of feedback before. This is surprising feedback as each party was communicative and had pleasant interactions. Regarding the issues: 1. I do not recall you asking to book each week at a time. In fact, in order to do so I would need to block the calendar and un-block it each week, which would cause an issue every Monday. This is why we asked you to book monthly (which you never did). It is worth noting that since we extended your first booking each week, you were able to take advantage of the 10% monthly discount and your cleaning fee was waived for each extension. 2. I told you up-front that we were getting construction done (2 months into your stay) and at this time was un-sure if you were actually continuing the stay due to your weekly bookings. At this point you could have made the choice to find another place to stay or not, which I offered. Our construction was done over the course of 8 working days from 8am to 4pm , to which you originally explained you would be working during the day. When your hours were changed ( to 2nd shift), I only found out by you texting me videos of the noise and saying you thought it was humorous, not annoyed - we did ask the workers I then again gave my apologies and offered you another chance to find a different AIR BnB. Due to your weekly booking, we were again unsure of how long your intended stay would be. We received an inquiry that started in December, which is why I asked you about your final check-in date. Since you still hadn't booked, 3. Regarding laundry and cleanliness. We did have a cleaning lady come on multiple occasions, which you were only charged once due to your weekly extended bookings. In addition, the laundry you referenced was left overnight unattended to on a weekend, which was placed neatly on top of the dryer. I understand if that felt like a violation of privacy, but the laundry was left for quite some time. 4. Regarding the thermostat, our home is communal, and we felt that having the heat set to 83 on a day when it is 50 degrees out was not environmentally friendly. In addition, the AC was set to 60 degrees during the warmer months, so we were just trying to find a comfortable temperature. We hope that you have better stays with AirBnB, and would advise that you communicate with your hosts on areas of concern, as we were surprised that you felt this level of dis-satisfaction. I hope you also appreciate how accommodating we were to your requests. Jason and Becca
