Fabulous location on a quiet and quaint street in the heart of Paris, in St-Germain, 4 mn walking to the Louvre, 15 mn to Musee d'Orsay or Notre-Dame.

Exquisite Hôtel Particulier (mansion) of 1630. A 50m2 lounge with unique original painted beams and view to the dome of the Institut de France.

Recent, fully equipped kitchen. Sumptuous dining-room accommodating 10. Suite of 2 deluxe bedrooms with walk-in closets and bathrooms, one with view to the Institut, the other with its private terrace.

The space
[ Health & Covid ] Ozone sanitized before your stay.

Behind the front door, made of plain wood and ironwork in 1630, a paved porch, with original ceiling beams, leads to the common patio that gives its name to the Patio Mazarine residence, a recently renovated Parisian spot of luxury and uniqueness.

Your key fob opens the large door of glass and black metal: welcome to your private mansion! Prepare for an experience of noble materials: solid oak flooring, wrought iron, antique tiles, marble baths, high quality natural linens, of state-of-the-art equipment - including broadband WiFi - and of ultimate comfort.

Use the prestigious wrought iron, tomettes and wood staircase, one of the most remarkable Parisian staircases of the 1600's, to reach the Noble Floor: the 2nd floor. Spacious - above 50 m2 - the living room is particularly bright thanks to 6 windows, one of which opens to the dome of the Institut de France. Authenticity and high-end comfort: Versailles parquet flooring, a generous sofa accommodating 8, big screen TV and the latest Apple TV model, providing free access to thousands of free movies, TV shows and musics, hidden speakers and subwoofer, a white Bösendorfer piano, and a high ceiling with painted beams unique in Paris.

The sound system plays in the whole 2nd floor, and also in the patio.

In the large kitchen, black granite bench, blue stone floor, and top level equipment: a Quooker tap (instant filtered hot and cold water), a large volume refrigerator producing ice cubes, and a steam oven in addition to the standard oven.

Silver cutlery and crystal glasses on a 3 meters long solid sono wood table: for a snack or for a meal prepared by a Chef at home, the dining room and its hidden sound system make your meal an out of the time experience.

The magic continues as you proceed to your bedrooms: your Suite is in the 3rd floor of the unforgettable staircase.

The Suite consists in a Master Bedroom with a magnificent view to the dome of the Institut de France, a small living room, a corridor closet with a safe and a beautiful marble bathroom, and a smaller bedroom, either for children or for another couple, equipped with a marble and granite bathroom and a walk-in closet, and opening to a shaded private terrace with a giant jasmine. Again here, a TV with its latest generation Apple TV. Each room has a Bose Bluetooth speaker to broadcast your smartphone's musics and radios.

The 2 bathrooms feature an illuminated "rain shower" ceiling. Each toilet is equipped with a hand held shower.

The temperature is ideal all year long thanks to an effective, quiet, centralized air conditioning system - a feature rarely available in the Saint-Germain area - and powerful heaters that you can fine-tune if you wish.

Guest access
On the ground floor, opening to the patio, you are welcome 24/7 to use the (shared) laundry, with state-of-the-art Miele laundry equipment: washer, dryer and steam ironing center.

At any time you may love to go spend some time in the patio, for a drink, a cigarette or a chat, or simply to enjoy a calm moment in a place that is cool in summer and equipped with heaters for winter time.

Other things to note
The living-room includes a white upright Bösendorfer piano. If you wish to hire a pianist for an event or a reception, let us know.

A HISTORIC AREA
You will live in the heart of Saint-Germain, the artistic, cultural, religious and intellectual very center in Paris. Just walking you will discover historical sites such as:

• the Saint-Germain-des-Prés Benedictine Abbey, founded by Clovis' son Childebert, which used to include a military prison which was attacked during the French revolution,
• Balzac's printing house, nestled amongst the neighbouring bookshops, publishing houses, and the literary salons of the intellectual elite of the twentieth century - Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Proust, etc.
• Delacroix's secret workshop and secret garden,
• École des Beaux-Arts (School of Fine Arts), whose students - still today - you see spread in the area with cardboard drawing, training in the Louvre, a few steps from your apartment by crossing the Pont des Arts, or down your windows sketching the Dome of Institute of France.

Mazarine street itself housed many characters who left their print in History of France: Molière created there the "Illustrious Theatre", one of Balzac's books describes rooms in this residence, and Manet and Champollion stayed there. You can also see much more ancient remnants, including towers and parts of the Philippe-Auguste's city wall, edificated in 1200, which included a fortress named… Louvre.

The 6th arrondissement ( = district) has always been the area for arts and culture in Paris. The density of trendy bars, wine bars and restaurants will immerse you into this extraordinary atmosphere.

SHOPPING & LIFESTYLE
Rive Gauche ( = the left bank) means the art of French living, regarding both style and pleasure.
