We welcome you to discover a home away from home in the heart of Toronto's Village. Located on a beautiful tree-lined side street this 1-bedroom loft-style ground floor condominium is minutes from Toronto's luxury shopping district and restaurants of Bloor Street and Yorkville, the National Ballet School of Canada, Church and Wellesley Village, St. James Town, Cabbagetown, Allen Gardens, Ryerson University and the Toronto Eaton Centre.

The space

Perfect for individuals or couples visiting Toronto and wanting the convenience of central downtown living, you will find the heart of our home is the open concept kitchen/dining/living room space which seats 2 adults comfortably around a granite top kitchen island or 4 at the glass top dining table. You will love that our apartment is situated on the ground floor, affording you street access through a private garden terrace making the space feel like a townhouse.

We provide Whirlpool stainless steel appliances including: a 33" refrigerator with ice-maker, a ceramic glass electric cooktop and oven, dishwasher, Panasonic microwave and private Whirlpool Duet full-sized high efficiency washer and dryer. We have an iron and ironing board, hair dryer in the bathroom, carbon-fibre stick umbrellas for just-in-case, and a yoga mat and roller for stretching.

Our kitchen is stocked with Cuisinart™ stainless steel pots and pans, Cuisinart Brew Central™ stainless steel coffee maker and a Cuisinart™ 2-slice toaster. If you have any special kitchen equipment needs (Bialtetti™ stovetop espresso maker, Bodum™ French Press coffee maker, French stainless steel mandolin, Lodge™ cast-iron frying pan, cake and bread pans or an electronic rice maker) please mention "Kitchen Equipment" during the reservation and we can make those available to you.

We also proudly use Avalon Organics™ lavender scented bath products (shower gel, shampoo, hand cleanser and body lotion).

Privately controlled heating or air conditioning will keep you comfortable while you surf our high speed Wi-Fi, watch Bell Fibe TV, or listen to your favorite music or our curated playlist on our Sonos Play 1.

The queen sized bed has a Sealy Posturepedic™ tight top firm mattress, and the bedroom has a half-wall overlooking the living room. The living room and dining room window coverings are vertical blinds ensuring privacy, however they are not fully blackout.

If you require parking during your stay, parking can be arranged and is available in 3-day instalments on a first come first serve basis, so please mention "Parking" during your reservation. I will need the make/model/color of your vehicle as well as license plate number to arrange parking for the duration of your stay.

Our building has a well equipped 24-hour gym, yoga studio, sauna, steam room and seasonal outdoor rooftop pool and jacuzzi. The building also has common (shared) outdoor barbecues near the pool area. The building is short-term rental and dog friendly (certain breeds excluded, contact me for more information), and the apartment is located across the street from an on-leash dog park and a few minutes from two off-leash dog parks in Cawthra Park and Allen Gardens.

If you have any questions or special requests please don't hesitate to let me know... It is my pleasure to source you or your partner's favourite flowers, locate your favourite wine or provide a memorable cheese, pâté de campagne and crunchy baguette board... A nominal fee will be charged separately from the reservation cost for these items.

If you are pressed for time or are arriving late, please let me know what type of pantry items you would like stocked prior your arrival and I will purchase these on your behalf, and again, I will provide receipts and you can reimburse me when you check in.

Finally, and because there is no where else to list "Checkout" details, I will personally meet you upon checkout to hear about your stay and to receive any feedback you may have (good or bad) to make the experience better for you or other future guests. Most importantly, please do not make any laundry on the day of your checkout - the only thing we ask is you rinse your dishes and put them in the dishwasher. Later in the day we will arrive with a fresh set of ironed linens and prepare the apartment for the next guests. The most important thing you can do on checkout day is to enjoy the last couple of hours on your visit to Toronto.

You will have full and exclusive use of a private 1-bedroom ground floor apartment.

Accessibility:
- Access to the apartment is through the main lobby with 24-hour concierge. There are 5 steps up (or elevator to GF) to bring you to the apartment grade.
- Inside the apartment there is 1-step grade change between the main living/dining/kitchen level and the bedroom/bathroom/laundry level.
- You can also access the apartment from the street/side walk via the private terrace. One step up to the terrace landing and one step up to the apartment.

Interaction with guests

After a personalized checkin to ensure all guests are settled comfortably, I am available at any time during your stay should you have any questions or need anything to make your stay more enjoyable.

If you are traveling alone and would like some company, please let me know and if calendar permits I would be happy to take you to my favourite watering hole, restaurant or gallery space.

Other things to note

All guests are welcome to benefit from our Museum of Contemporary Art - Toronto - Corporate Membership Cards. Although MOCA - Toronto will not re-open until the Fall of 2017 (can't wait!) this card gives two guests access to some of Toronto's other great contemporary spaces, including: Creative Spirit Art Centre, The Bata Shoe Museum, The Textile Museum, Mercer Union and The Powerplant.

1. For everyone's safety and security, only the guests listed in the reservation are permitted on the property. Please remember to bring a government issued photo ID as this is required at check-in.

2. We live in a family friendly neighbourhood so unfortunately we don't allow parties and no loud events after 10pm.

3a. In case of emergencies, all guests are asked to fill out a contact information sheet.

3b. Our building is short term rental friendly, all guests must agree to all condominium rules and bylaws.

4. No smoking in the apartment and strictly no drugs permitted on the premises. Smoking in the apartment will result in a CAD 300 charge for deep cleaning, and possession of drugs will result in immediate cancellation of the reservation and eviction.

5. Unlimited high speed wifi is included in the nightly rate, however all guests must agree to no downloading of any copyright material.

This was our first experience using Airbnb and I don't think it could have been any better. Clarence is a fantastic host who takes the time to give you a tour around the building, as well as create a list (complete with descriptions) of local places to see! The condo is immaculate, decorated beautifully and smells fantastic (think spa)! His home and hospitality was beyond our expectations. Clarence literally thinks of everything! Our check in time was at 3:00, however we arrived earlier in the day. We were prepared to just walk around the city waiting until check in time, but Clarence prepared the condo and insisted we check in early! It was so nice!! I would highly recommend Clarence to anyone looking to visit Toronto.

We loved Clarence's unit. Best host we have ever had by far. Toronto is a very walkable city and the apartment is very centrally located. The interior is uniquely decorated with fine furnishings and cute knick-knacks that add to the experience. I would 1000% recommend this place to anyone visiting the beautiful/fun city of Toronto. Clarence was very flexible and understanding in allowing us to check in/out as we had a very early flight in and a late flight out. Even though we didn't stay in the apartment, our luggage was safely kept and we retrieved it once it was time to head to the airport. I recommend the little coffee shop at the corner of his block as is is privately owned and they make very good coffee. The building, the amenities are just as described and everything was spot on. Thank you again Clarence!

Truly the best airbnb experience I've ever had. Immaculately clean apartment, with everything you need. Great linens, very comfy bed, I slept like a baby. Geographic location was perfect, easy parking arrangements and very close to public transit. Lots of bars, restaurants, shops in easy walking distance. The pool and hot tub were divine. Clarence was a wonderful host, very responsive to any questions or anything we needed. This would be my first choice next time I return to Toronto.

Couldn't have been a better stay or experience. As far as hosting goes, Clarence has every detail covered. He definitely knows the city and has great recommendations around town. The condo itself was first class; it was immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and easily felt like the Four Seasons Residences. The condo was a short uber to almost anything and for business travel it was nice to enjoy the quiet neighborhood after a long day. I highly recommend this property and host.

The condo itself was amazing, but add a great location and perfect host? Well it makes it the best stay we have had. The bar has been raised quite high. 100% recommend and will 100% stay here again.

My background and passion has always been accessories and specifically leather goods... I could talk handbags all day! However, last year I needed to reinvent myself after the company I worked for, filed for bankruptcy.
