I loved the place! It's well taken care of and very homey. The location is great too, within a few minutes walk to Castro street with a bunch of restaurants and lounges, but in a nice and quiet residential neighborhood. The room is very charming! The amenities are great - a n…

I stayed in the room for 12 weeks during the summer. Overall the stay was OK except for a few aspects. On the hot days the temperature on my floor would reach 85-90F which was unbearable. Air conditioning was listed in the house amenities and multiple guests asked Christina to t…

Response from Christina:
It was definitely a challenge to please this diverse group of young, summer interns, especially regarding the house temperature. Some preferred natural air and wanted windows open, some were catching colds because of the A/C, some preferred fans. Too many opinions and disagreement about following some guidelines, such as my simple request to close windows when the A/C is on. I agree that cleanliness was an issue. I have house rules about expecting guests to clean after themselves. Some were notorious for not respecting this. This is where I may have come off as firm. I did get annoyed at some guests time after time leaving a mess for the cleaning fairies to deal with and flat out lying about it. This guest shared a bathroom with one other person. The cleaner comes once a week. Self service toilet paper is under the bathroom sink, along with cleaning supplies. Guests can watch tv after 10pm as long as they are respecting the others in the home and not disturbing anyone. Sounds like a common courtesy, right?

Christina's house is a clean and big house located very close to Mountain View downtown. The neighborhood is very beautiful and safe, and the room is big and warm. I'd recommend anybody to stay there, given that you will have the feeling of being at home.

For anyone needing a short term place, Boranda Ct is perfectly nice. It was my first time using AirBnb for a short-term living situation (rather than vacation/trip), so I think you have to temper your expectations a bit. I wouldn't say Christina is overly friendly, but she accomm…

Response from Christina:
You'll have to take this review with a grain of salt. As she mentions, it was her first experience. She's being overly critical and has no other apples to compare her stay to. She had a nice room in a $2.5 million home, not a "perfectly nice" home.
