A terrific apartment for the budget conscious, a street with free parking and only 10 minutes walk to city centre areas of the Royal Mile and the East End of Princes Street. It is in a traditional tenement building and the apartment has been tastefully refurbished with a contemporary feel.

The space

Located in an area of Edinburgh where you will get a real feel for a true Edinburgh community; It is situated only ten minutes walk to the East side of Princes Street, less than 15 minutes walk to Holyrood Palace and Park, and within walking distance of many other attractions, shops and main bus routes.

The apartment is ideal for couples with a spacious main bedroom with a double bed and there is a wardrobe and bedside table.

There is a 2nd bedroom which is a smaller internal bedroom with a single bed which is available to book for a small extra charge of £15 per night for the length of the booking if a 3rd guest is staying or 2 guests prefer seperate beds.

The kitchen, sitting room and dining area are a modern open plan layout.

The bathroom is compact with a bath, shower over bath, WC and wash basin. There is a bathroom door with a 1/2 panel of translucent glass leading to the bathroom from the hall.

Guest access

A well equipped apartment and guests have private access to all areas.

Interaction with guests

Guests will either be met at the apartment with the keys or the keys will be left for collection at a nearby location.

There is an information folder in the apartment, which should answer any questions, but if you do have any additional questions during your stay I am always contactable.

Other things to note

The essentials included in the apartment during your stay include all bed linen, 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per guest, 1 bath matt, 1 toilet roll, travel size soap, shampoo & body wash, 1 tea towel, washing up liquid.

Key pick up and luggage storage at the apartment prior to 14 00 hours can be arranged sometimes and is £20.

Departure after 11 00 hours is £35 subject to availability.

The Flat itself was very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. Although we did not use the kitchen it seemed to have everything you would need. The Flat is in an old tenement block and has rather a scruffy entrance hall. The location is good being only a short walk to some great cafes, especially The Manna House bakery and patisserie.

Trudi's flat was quite comfortable and a great location, not far from anything. Trudi was a very welcoming host and understanding when our flight was canceled and we 24 hours late. The communication through it all was excellent. I highly recommend staying in Trudi's apartment.

Trudi's place was very gorgeous, however there were a few hiccups that burdened the experience for us. The heating and hot water weren't working very well on the first night (Trudi very promptly organised someone to come over and fix it at 10.30 that night, but the heating didn't start to work until the next day, and we felt uncomfortable when he turned up ), and basic utensils (toilet paper, tea towel, fry pan, sugar ect) wasn't provided. Trudi seemed lovely but we didn't get to meet her upon arrival or departure, and there was a fee to extend the checkout time for a little bit so we chose not to. The stay was okay, but we'd probably have a look for somewhere else in the future. Nice place nonetheless!

We had a lovely stay in this comfortable flat. It was easy walking distance to everything we wanted to do in city centre, with plenty of shops and restaurants very close by. Trudi was easy to communicate with before, during, and after our stay. Recommended!

The apartment is professionally managed , all facilities are really new and clean , lots of space for 1-3 ppl to stay, I booked it last minuet , landlord was very responsive , worked out everything for me nicely , recommend!
