Private room in the heart of the Hampden neighborhood. Just a 3 min walk to the main avenue with a wide array of local shops, bars and restaurants to enjoy. Also located near 83 so all of Baltimore is easily accessible. We are on a busy street, but the house sits atop the hill and the room faces the backyard so it is very quiet!

Note: we have a very friendly dog!

This gem is a great location. Super convenient walk to the Avenue in Hampden with all the restaurants and shops you need. Also across from a gorgeous park. Being able to walk so many places was fabulous. Having our own porch, bathroom, and bedroom suite was so nice! Paul and Margaret were incredibly prompt with responses and very cool (happy to converse if we were, but also hands off when we were doing our own thing).

Paul is a great host, chill, friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. Check in wasn't supposed to be until noon, but he was happy to meet us early in the morning and let us drop our stuff off early. The house is really cool, it's got an artsy sort of industrial hipster vibe. The house was very clean and comfortable. The area felt very safe, and is located right near the Avenue, where a bunch of shops are. The first floor has the living room, kitchen, and a bathroom, the second floor has the guest room. The room isn't huge, but it's plenty large for two people, and it has it's own bathroom. There is only one bed in the bedroom, but it's big enough for two 5'6" people to share comfortably. Otherwise, there are two couches in the living room down stairs, at least one of which looks like a pullout. The bedroom has an in window A.C. unit and a fan, both of which work quite well, and there is also a balcony off the bedroom. Paul does have a dog, but she is very sweet, quiet and friendly, honestly don't think she barked once (also I didn't notice any dog hair in the bedroom, nor anywhere else for that matter). Overall 10/10 would highly recommend. If I really had to find something to complain about, then I guess the water pressure in the shower could be a little better, but that's trivial. One thing though, I would not recommend staying here if you are mobility impaired, there is a slightly steep flight of stairs to the front door and the path to the back door is a bit narrow.

We couldn't be happier with our stay, the only con was getting up those wild entrance stairs, but other than that - we definently would love to come back! We even felt loved by Paul's neighbors, they were super friendly people! We miss Khole (Paul's dog)!

Very nice place! It has a large bed upstairs and sofa and pull out couch downstairs. The home is in a low key location of Hamden which I really liked. There is a balcony that has a table and chairs and faces a quiet area backing up to other homes. We had to run the A/C when we got there and cooled the room down in no time. Also the dog, Chloe, was a total sweetheart. This was my first stay with Air Bnb and it turned out well
