Just a few blocks from trendy Main St, this new modern accommodation is very private with your own separate entrance, a large private room with queen bed, and private bathroom. It's located on a quiet residential street with a lovely back garden.

The space
This is a completely private room/bathroom with your own private entry in the basement of our newly built house. Although it is a basement, the ceilings are high (8ft).
It is located in one of the best neighbourhoods of Vancouver, just 4 blocks from lively Main st with all of its amazing restaurants, cafes and funky clothing stores,
but on a very quiet and peaceful residential street.

The room has its own separate entrance at the back of the house. It's very private with its own new bathroom. It's is available on a nightly or weekly basis.

The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed (memory foam mattress) with attached full bathroom. There is also an empty closet to store your things, and a small bar fridge and microwave that you are welcome to use.

There are lots of transit options nearby. Both the Main and Fraser bus will take you to the skytrain in 10 minutes. Or you could take the King Edward bus to the Canada Line subway station in 5 minutes. The King Edward bus also takes you to UBC in half an hour.

Free wireless internet, but there is no television. As this is a room and bathroom that is separate from the main house, there is no kitchen access but there is a small bar fridge in your room for you to store perishable items.

We are a family of 4 with small children living upstairs and the sound carries between floors. We are often out, but it can get noisy during meal times. It can get especially loud in the mornings as of 7am, as it is usually a scramble to get the kids out the door. If you are ok with hearing footsteps and their little voices overhead in exchange for a comfortable, clean and private space, then this would be a good fit for you:)

Neighbourhood highlights

There are no shortage of great cafes, restaurants and bars on Main St. Some of our favourites are Locus, Trafiq, Chai, Sweet Revenge, and The Main. Just a few blocks away on the corner of St. George and 28th is the Marche St. George. It is a very sweet and intimate neighbourhood cafe with great croissants, crepes, and quiches. Our favourite bakery is Batard on Fraser/24th; everything they bake is heavenly. Right beside it is the best ice cream in the city called Earnest Ice Cream.
