Our cozy red cottage is in an older neighborhood. It's 8 blocks from downtown Newberg; Making it convenient to walk or bike to coffee, shopping, restaurants, art, and more. Also a short distance to the Willamette River. Dozens of wineries in the area to choose from. Newberg is the gateway to wine- country, being the closest town in Yamhill County to Portland (40 minutes).. Ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with kids.

The space
The Little Red Cottage is an older home with a vintage feel and a rich history. It was a small general store in the 1940's to 1960's and was a convenient stop for paper mill workers in the area.

Where you’ll be

Newberg, Oregon, United States

The neighbors are great and take pride in their homes. There's a convenience store on the other side of the street, right in a residential neighborhood, it's a bit of an "eyesore". You are not getting a million dollar view, but you are getting a good value, safe area, and a sweet little cottage.

My husband and I were born and raised in Oregon. We stay busy on our farm in Aurora raising sheep, goats, chickens, guinea fowl, a llama... and three kids. We are looking forward to harvesting heirloom apples from our young hard cider orchard next year. I love everything about older homes and have renovated over 15 of them in my lifetime. I would love to host a show on HGTV someday!! LOL...
