My place is close to restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, interstates, the river and lake access. You’ll love my place because of the location; very convenient to all of west Knoxville (10 minutes from Turkey Creek) but in a quiet, mature neighborhood. Five minutes from the interstate - but in those 5 minutes, you drive past cows and horses, and the home is situated on a mature acre with frequent deer swinging by!
Other things to note
I have two cats that are 98% outdoor since I brought the shepherd puppy home a few months ago, but guests can have as little or as much interaction with them as they want. For cat lovers, they can come in and socialize, but for those with sensitive allergies to cats, though the house stays very clean, residual dander may cause some allergic response.
A busy mom in Knoxville that is rarely home on the weekends! This has opened up my home for hosting, and has allowed me to be a guest elsewhere.
Five things I can't live without: my daughter and her laughter, books, a soccer ball, chapstick and lemonheads.
My favorite travel destinations: I will always love the mountains. Year round, but on a snowboard in the winter. Work has provided the opportunity to visit Copenhagen, Barcelona and Vancouver - I loved them all. Though they're huge cities, I prefer the quieter life. Country, open space, room to roam.
My style of traveling and hosting is laid back. I'm pretty meticulous about my home and keeping it clean, so it will be pulled together for my guests, and I will leave the homes I visit as I find it.
I do not have a life motto. I don't have a bucket list. If I want to do something, I will find a way to get there. Most recently: sky diving!
