My place is close to restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, interstates, the river and lake access. You’ll love my place because of the location; very convenient to all of west Knoxville (10 minutes from Turkey Creek) but in a quiet, mature neighborhood. Five minutes from the interstate - but in those 5 minutes, you drive past cows and horses, and the home is situated on a mature acre with frequent deer swinging by!

Other things to note

I have two cats that are 98% outdoor since I brought the shepherd puppy home a few months ago, but guests can have as little or as much interaction with them as they want. For cat lovers, they can come in and socialize, but for those with sensitive allergies to cats, though the house stays very clean, residual dander may cause some allergic response.

A long trip to get to downtown Knoxville, but was a great value and great place to stay. Loved their cats too!

Kelsey's home felt very homey, she was kind and accommodating . We had a fabulous time using the space for a short period. Thanks for letting us use your space.

We could not have been happier with our stay at Kelsey's!! There was plenty of room for 9 of us and 3 dogs. The home was cozy and large with a beautiful front porch and view. The beds were very comfortable!! Kelsey is the best hostess and very easy to work with and encouraged us to make her place our place while we were there. We so enjoyed the kitty cats - mainly one of them - she came in when we let her and made herself right at home and was so friendly. What a wonderful way to have my whole extended family stay together while there for my niece's wedding!! Perfect!!

Response from Kelsey:
Laurie, I forgot to write in your review how much attention (spoiling?) you gave Sassafras and Flipper. Thank you for your very kind words. Loved having you, just hated not being able to meet you. You are always welcome in Tennessee!

Fabulous place. It's spacious, comfortable, and very quiet. The neighborhood is wonderful. We were traveling with a large enough crew to take advantage of the space, but if we have a need to hole up near Knoxville again, even for just 2 of us we/will check for availability of this home before we check for anything else.

Kelsey's home was a terrific place to overnight on our way to Hilton Head. The drive to her home off the highway was quite scenic. Once we arrived, it was easy to see why this was a highly rated place to stay. She was quick to respond to any of our questions. The beds were comfortable. The dining room and family room were great spaces for our families to congregate. The cats were friendly and while we had cat allergies in our group, it did not become an issue. The location itself was secluded within a residential area but was also accessible to dining places at nearby Turkey Creek. We would definitely stay here again and can only hope she continues to offer up her home in Knoxville to the Airbnb community.

Kelsey is such a kind and caring host!! She genuinely cares about you and your family having a relaxing time together. Loved having all of my family together for my nephew's wedding weekend. This was my first time to rent on Airbnb. Will definitely do it again!! Kelsey's place is great!!!

A busy mom in Knoxville that is rarely home on the weekends! This has opened up my home for hosting, and has allowed me to be a guest elsewhere.

Five things I can't live without: my daughter and her laughter, books, a soccer ball, chapstick and lemonheads.

My favorite travel destinations: I will always love the mountains. Year round, but on a snowboard in the winter. Work has provided the opportunity to visit Copenhagen, Barcelona and Vancouver - I loved them all. Though they're huge cities, I prefer the quieter life. Country, open space, room to roam.

My style of traveling and hosting is laid back. I'm pretty meticulous about my home and keeping it clean, so it will be pulled together for my guests, and I will leave the homes I visit as I find it.

I do not have a life motto. I don't have a bucket list. If I want to do something, I will find a way to get there. Most recently: sky diving!
