The 1938 barn is in the ❤ of Parke County and Covered Bridge Country. You will love the rustic charm of the converted barn built in 1938. Guests are welcome to use the private bar to relax, get a few veggies from the garden, fish my favorite places at the lake or just chill at the camp fire. Enjoy all of the great nature activities around while staying at this unique, secluded country getaway!

Livestock guardian dog on property. We do have a Great Pyrenees puppy in training. Read more in 'Pets'

The space
This rustic barn apartment is situated a quarter mile off South SR 59 • 1 mile North of Mansfield. There is a small kitchenette in the apartment equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.
**Please be advised that this is a working farm. It is 80+ years old and we cannot promise you may not see a bug or two. ** We have a large garden and a few farm animals that need daily attention so you may see someone outside, just wave and if you need anything we're happy to help. Chances are if its gardening season we're ready to load you up with some fresh veggies.

We are about 1/2 mile off the road. There are a couple of weekend places on adjoining property. When you sit outside all you will see are fields and woodland.
Raccoon Lake, Turkey Run, Lake Waveland and Shades state parks are very close.

This barn is part of a working farm and will have visitors tending to the garden and an occasional pup riding along. 🐶

Poor cell service • AT&T is best
•This is a barn and it is 80+ years old. We do our very best to keep it as clean as possible but it is still a barn.
