Welcome to Chez Juanvi! I propose you a beautiful and cozy apartment, fully equipped and with the necessary to have a perfect stay in La Paz. It´s located in the city center, next to Plaza Triangular and Puente de las Américas, in a safe and calm neighborhood (Miraflores). There are many minibuses (usual transportation) to all directions of the city. The famous viewpoint Mirador Laikakota is a block away and El Prado is just 15 min by walk. We can also buy some stuff in advance such as food, etc

The space

It is a 1 bedroom apartment with High Speed Internet (WiFI and Ethernet), flat screen TV with HDMI cable so you can connect your laptop to the TV. The living room has a sofa bed. The bedroom has 2 individual beds of 1,05m wide with one nightstand. In the bathroom there is a bathtub, sink and toilet with bathroom products (toilet paper, shampoo, soap, etc). The kitchen is equipped with fridge, oven, kettle, coffee maker, smoke extractor, kitchen utensils and products (salt, pepper, oil, etc.) There is also a washroom with the washing machine, iron, iron table, clothes dryer and a washingbasin. There is hot water in the whole apartment.

Guest access

The building has a 24 hours doorman. The apartment is entirely for you, I won´t be there during your stay.

Interaction with guests

You will have my cellphone number, so you can call or message me 24/7. We are at your disposal for any doubt about transportation, food, etc. Also, if you want to go for a coffee or a walk in the city we are up to that ;-) (if our job and other commitments allow us)

Other things to note

I have prepared for you a guidebook in the apartment with nice restaurants, shopping places, tips on entertainment, ... with a map to locate them and their schedules. There are also some leaflets and magazines of touristic information and interesting data about the city and the locals (demographics, health, security, culture, etc.) You will also have coca tea in the apartment to face and resist La Paz´s high altitude.

We used Juanvi's apartment as a break between a few hectic traveling months and also to lay low and get some work done (online business). The location is central though and close to shops, restaurants and stadiums so could be used for the opposite kind of trip as well. The wifi is the best we've had in South America and the kitchen is very well stocked so we were able to cook all our meals here (5min walk to the big supermarket). Having a washer in the apartment and large drying rack available was such a luxury as a backpacker and so appreciated. Juanvi was very helpful, friendly and responsive to any queries we had throughout our stay - would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay. The apartment is perfect for 1 or 2 people with a working cooker, nice lounge and bathroom. Juanvi has nailed the traveller essentials of fast wifi (the best we've had by a long way anywhere in South America), hot shower and washing machine. Juanvi was an exceptional host, responding to messages very quickly and even arranging an airport transfer for us. I really can't recommend the flat highly enough!

I would highly recommend Juanvi's Airbnb if you stay in La Paz for a couple of days. This is one of my favorite Airbnb I've ever stayed. Juanvi is so professional that he not only provides all the basic things we needs, but also many amenities I didn't expect, like washers and heaters! Also, he provided very detailed instructions on transportations, and some guidance on city tours and restaurant recommendations. The location is also fantastic. I have nothing to complain. REALLY Recommend!

Juanvi was very responsive and helpful. His apartment is clean and full of light. There is a heater for chilly mornings and the kitchen is well equipped. The washing machine worked well and there was plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable. The apartment is in a doorman building in a peaceful residential area within easy walking distance of the center and Sopocachi. The apartment is also VERY close to the station for the white line of the city's teleferico system. The white line will open within a few weeks and this will allow easy access to the whole teleferico system which goes to the airport, El Alto, and Zona Sur where many good restaurants and bars are located. This will be a big plus because traffic can be bad in La Paz, taxis aren't cheap and there are very few Uber drivers in the city, so traveling on the Teleferico is a safe, clean, fast, cheap option. I do wish that there was cable or Netflix in the apartment and it would have been nice to have a desk and chair to work at (there's plenty of space for one). However, I would consider staying there again when I'm in La Paz.
