Other things to note
Nature & Coffee Farm Experience:
Our finca is surrounded by a thriving landscape of native trees, flowers, and plants — a living, breathing sanctuary where every path leads to a new view. On the property, you’ll find our working coffee farm, a proud family tradition that produces fresh beans each year, along with homegrown Ají’s that we use to make our very own spices sure to pack a punch to your Huevos Pericos or Bandeja Paisa. Guests are welcome to learn about the process of our coffee harvest from bean to brew, and enjoy a cup of coffee unlike any you’ve had before — grown, harvested, and roasted right here.
Whether you’re here to explore, to write, to rest, or simply to breathe deeply, this is a place that lets you reconnect with the land, with loved ones, and with yourself.

Should you be interested in a tour and learning more, we can organize a guided tour of the finca along with a coffee tasting during your stay.

Please note, for guests without a car, we can arrange airport transfers, private drivers, and local transportation so your trip is stress-free from start to finish.

Neighbourhood highlights

Mulatá Bajo is a quiet and safe village, away from the main road.
You can hear roosters, different birds and the water of the nearby streams.
On the sidewalk, there are small shops where you can have a beer or buy non-perishable market items.

The Nature Reserve is part of RESNATUR, a network of civil society nature reserves. Paola and Juan Pablo have spent the last 15 years restoring the area's landscape by reforesting and combining production and conservation activities. Their efforts are paying off: for example, ten years ago it was only possible to observe 10 species of birds and now 44 have been observed.
