Come and enjoy a beautiful, spacious, quiet, private, relaxing space with harbour views from your bedroom, en suite toilet, separate en suite shower room, king size bed, tea-making things, sofa and a selection of books.

I am no longer able to provide breakfast but I recommend The Quarterdeck Cafe, which is a short walk away on the harbour front.

The space
Please note that it's a loft space. There is plenty of room to move around but do mind your head! It also means Velux windows and standing in one corner to enjoy the view. Please check the photos.

I am a digital artist. You are welcome to browse my work, which hangs everywhere downstairs.

Where you’ll be

Chichester, England, United Kingdom

Harbour tours depart from the jetty 200 yards from my front door, as (in season) does the foot passenger ferry to Bosham Hoe.

The friendly local pub (The Ship) does good food and is right opposite. Booking essential.

Truly excellent coffee and cakes and very friendly service is found at The Quarterdeck cafe next to the car park or a short walk along the foreshore.

Walkers and twitchers will love the wooded path along the harbour towards West Wittering (3.5 miles) or inland through farmland and past amazing shore-front houses towards Chichester Yacht Club. I particularly love the path at dusk when you hear woodland birds to one side of you and wading birds to the other.

Visitors from cities are amazed to see the stars at night! There are blackout blinds on the Velux windows if darkness is your thing. Personally, I leave them open to enjoy the stars.

Note that I am in Itchenor, not Bosham. Bosham is across the harbour by foot ferry (daytime in the summer) but 10 miles by road.

Note also that Itchenor is a working harbour. It does not have a beach. The nearest sandy beach is at West Wittering, 3.5 miles by road or via a lovely wooded walk alongside the harbour.
