Location

Washington, District of Columbia, United States

Eckington is one of the oldest neighborhoods in DC. The house is 50 yards from the iconic House of Cards opening credits (the Capitol shot on the bridge). It is 0.75 miles from Capitol Hill and 1 mile from the White House.

Within one mile, you also have an abundance of authentic restaurants and cafes, including a neighborhood coffee shop, a whiskey bar, a tequila bar, a renovated fire house, a cidery, and a meat smokehouse. You are centrally located close to these restaurants: The Pub and the People, Big Bear Cafe, El Camino, Old Engine 12, Boundary Stone, Red Hen, Wicked Bloom & more.

Also located next to a park with a running track, tennis and basketball courts in a quiet neighborhood with little to no thru-traffic.

If you like to get a neighborhood feel, Eckington is more laid back and authentic than many trendier places in the District. If you're looking for a rich experience off the beaten path, then this is for you.
