This property has plenty of character and ia situated in a grade II listed building, converted by English Heritage in 1986. The apartment overlooks Holy Trinity church in the old town. Secure gated parking, space for 1 car

The space

Converted by English Heritage, this is a grade 2 Listed building. Overlooking Trinity Square, and Holy Trinity church, the property is fabulous.

Guest access

The property briefly comprises phone entry system to well appointed communal area, stairs and lift access to all floors.
The Apartment boasts an entrance hall, double bedroom with wardrobes, bathroom with electric shower over bath, toilet and sink.
The kitchen is fitted with a range of modern glossy units with integrated electric oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and all kitchen equipment. The lounge has 32" TV with Netflix box and integrated DVD player. There is a corner sofa as well as a cream double sofabed.

Interaction with guests

We live 10 minutes away, so are a quick call away to help with anything at all.

Other things to note

We have a washing machine, and a heated airer for drying clothes.

Cleaning essentials, washing up liquid, toilet roll, dishwasher tabs and laundry detergents are provided. Similarly, we provide shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

A welcome pack of bread, butter, milk and eggs is provided on your arrival. Tea, coffee and sugar can be found in canisters in the cupboard.

All linens and towels are provided.

Please strip the beds on your departure and leave the bedding and used towels in the bath. We would also appreciate it if you would dispose of your rubbish in the bin store (near the carpark door).

Please ensure the windows and doors are closed and locked when you are out.

Please only use the parking space labelled with the flat number.

Please turn off lights and sockets when not in use (apart from the fridge freezer).

Please note the cleaning fee covers basic cleaning, laundry and ironing. You are expected to leave the property as you found it, taking all rubbish and personal belongings with you :-)

On your departure, please make sure all the storage heaters are turned ON at the wall. Please also turn down the OUTPUT to 1, the lowest setting, and make sure that INPUT is turned up to 6.

New to Airbnb ( I normally stay in 4* hotels ) I found my visit a joy from start to finish. My arrival conincided with the school run, and Jen kindly picked me up from the station.... what a wonderful warm welcome I had from Jen and her delightful children ! The location of the flat is a given.... it’s perfect, and the view of the Minster pretty special. In fact I just moved away the dining table and put down my yoga mat and enjoyed it to the maximum. The bed is comfy.... neither too soft or too firm. The feather pillows were a surprise and blissful. There is nothing better than a good nights sleep in a strange place. There is a great stock of bathroom essentials and cleaning products should they be needed. Jen supplied some different things for me in the welcome pack as I’m a vegetarian... that was thoughtful and kind. I know I’ll be coming back to Hull... and this will always be my first port of call !

This is a perfect location to enjoy the City of Culture in any year. All parts of the city are easily accessible from this corner of the old town. Tim and Jen's place is the ideal base for a visit to Hull.

A lovely place to stay for family, and it's close to city center and lots of pubs around. Convenient to walk to shops as well, hosts are great people.

Great communication before and during our visit. We had a couple of queries and Tim responded immediately. Apartment is as shown, clean and with everything we needed. Very central location opposite the Minster. Thank you.

It is a magical place. The living room, cradling a corner, gives a sense of both looking down from an eyrie and up from a conning tower, looking at a city built from the bounty of the sea. Poetry, plus parking with no extra charges, making the smart flat wonderful value for money. There's a fine pub, with good food and great Belgian beer on its doorstep.
