I am so sorry you were not happy with your stay and yes, this is probably the worst review I have ever (Website hidden by Airbnb) a bit shocking because I try so hard to please my guests. I actually do disclose that we are near a freeway in the House Rules section under "You must also acknowledge" and I photographed the stairs that you say you couldn't get your stroller up. They are in the pictures when you preview the apartment. Regarding the place being dirty, we have a professional housekeeper clean the apartment and I am so sorry you found it not up to your standards. I will certainly check up on that but I was in there today after she cleaned and the place was pretty spotless, but if you saw a hair in the bathroom, or hairs, that is not good at all and I am not doubting you. I will definitely see to it that she examines the bathroom with her glasses on prior to finishing to make sure she gets every last hair as I know how upsetting that can be. My sincere apologies about that. As far as the floors being dirty, I watch her mop them, but I will have a word about that with her as well. Regarding the dishes - the guests always wash their own dishes and we don't wash them again after they wash them, so that is possible that a guest may not have done such a great job washing their own dishes. As for the walls and cabinets, they look fine to me but I will look at them again...the place is old, it was built in the 1940s which I also disclose, however, it was painted a couple of years ago and honestly doesn't look bad to me at all - in fact I think it looks pretty good. But I will re-check everything next time I go back over there. I'm glad you found the linens clean. Again I am so sorry you were so unhappy with your stay at the apartment, however some of what you didn't like was actually disclosed prior to you booking, both in the photos and in the "You must also acknowledge" part. We will try and improve the areas where it is possible to improve. The freeway and stairs are I'm afraid not possible to do anything about, but we do disclose both of those things to our guests.
