Jose's place is real Vermont. Quiet and serene. Not too far from Lake Champlain where we sailed and off to Burlington for a afternoon on the town. Best of all was the return back to Jose's for wonderful diner with the whole family.

Travel down a dirt road (Goshen) a ways and you come upon the house sitting in a beautiful cleared spot in the woods. Its remote and quite. You can feel the tension melt away here. Lots of close trails to hike: check out blueberry hill and the spirit trails. Middlebury (and restaurants) is about 15 minutes away. Jose was great and accommodating to our needs.

We are Airbnb hosts that had to find alternative accommodation for some guests and Jose was great in accommodating this and the guests were really pleased with the house.

We had such a great time at Goldry Hill! Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting, and the house was very cozy, but spacious - perfect for our group of six people. The home is very conveniently located to the Snow Bowl, Breadloaf/Rikert, Blueberry Hill, Silver Lake, Dunmore, Goshen, etc., so there are tons of options for winter and summer activities. Getting to-from Middlebury was also very easy, only about a 20 min drive. José was very accessible in case we had any questions and made our trip very easy overall. Can't wait to stay here next time we come to VT!
