Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic nature spot . This log cabin on the pond is located on a working horse farm. As part of your private getaway, you can have a pondside bonfire, take a swim, book a horseback trail ride through the forest or visit our on-site Day Spa all right here at Fina Vista Farm in the beautiful Oak Hills. The Cabin is cozy, unique, rustic and off-grid. There's a propane fireplace, a solar furnace, a propane camper cookstove, mini fridge, outhouse, outdoor shower.
The space

New in 2022! Along with 2 vintage campers we offer through airbnb, we have now added this unique stay! Escape to this newly built ranch retreat alongside a sweet pond! The space is a cozy one room log cabin. Inside you will find a dining area, dishes, pots, cups, cutlery, sitting area, and an antique bed with brand new Endy mattress. Bathroom facilities are rustic, private outhouse off back deck and outdoor shower and pond for swimming. There is a huge wrap-around deck on 3 sides of the cabin. You will see horses grazing off your back deck. surrounded by hills and forests and on the edge of a beautiful pond visited by a beautiful heron, passing riders, and many tadpoles and spring peepers. A true getaway. The cabin is very private, off-grid, with a solar furnace and propane fireplace. Outside you will find a firepit with cooking grill and a propane cookstove. There is a mini fridge and some water provided for drinking and cleaning.
Although the cabin is off-grid, there is a solar -charged generator (Jackery 1000), where you can plug in when needed.
Activities offered right at the farm include horseback trail rides, Ebike tours on gorgeous retro bikes, an on farm Day Spa, swimming, loads of trails to hike. Many beaches, wineries, parks, stores and restaurants within 45 minutes.
Unplug, unwind, breathe deep, reconnect.
Guest access
The guests have the cabin to themselves, and are also welcome to use the firepit on the beach, swim in the pond, visit the animals on the farm (friendly dogs, cats, chickens, horses and a pig). There are many kilometers of trails to explore starting right outside your door.
Other things to note
The Cabin is located on a working horse farm and horses and riders will occasionally pass by the pond and cabin. We have 2 very friendly dogs that love to visit the guests (but please don't let them in the cabin and beware of them stealing your food ;). You are welcome to visit the farm animals which include horses, barncats, chickens and a friendly free-range pot-bellied pig named Pepper. But please stay out of paddocks for your own safety and be mindful the white fences are electric. The pond is great for swimming or floating about. There are lots of winding trails starting right at your door to explore the beautiful Oak Hills, via meadows and forests with fabulous views. There is an on-site Day Spa as well with a range of relaxing and pampering services offered.
