Located in the heart of the Luberon Natural Preserve, Menerbes is just a 30-minute drive from the medieval city of Avignon, a top sightseeing/shopping destination. Daily food markets are held in the surrounding villages, never more than a few kilometres away. Restaurants for every taste and budget are available in the villages Gordes, Roussillon, Goult, Bonnieux, Coustellet, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Oppede and Lacoste, among others! Dine outdoors, with a view of village life, or next to a cool stream. Within an hour's drive, you can visit the Camargue wetlands, and tour the cities of Aix-en-Provence, Marseilles, Nimes, and Arles. Or see the sites in St. Remy, Fountain-de-Vaucluse and Loumarin, also within in an easy drive. Mon Dieu, where to start?! Communication with Hoppy went fast and smooth all way through, and she gave us a warm welcome to the orange house and even was so kind to leave a bottle of rosé for us - the perfect welcome a la Provence :-) Hoppys orange Provence-house is such a gem - we spent a relaxing week and loved this place. Having a free parking space right in front of the house and access to the roof top pool with an amazing view was absolutely luxury. As mentioned in the previous reviews of the studio, the studio itself is rather dark, but very functional and decorated with an eye for bohemean details. The bathroom is obviously small, but super functional and with great water pressure in the shower. The only little hiccup we had was, that when we were going to use the little kitchenette for the first time, it turned out, that several of the dishes / kitchen supplies still were unclean from the last usage. We are sure, that it was just a mistake, since there are nothing else to complain or notice about the rest of the studio. We would absolutely love to come back to this place - but since we are foodielovers and love to go to the Provence Markets to buy fresh local groceries / produce and be able to cook them "at home", we would for the next visit probably book Hoppys Garden villa with a bigger kitchen and direct access to the pool-area.

Thank you so much for a beautiful stay, we loved the view from the pool and the town was a perfect place to use as a base for touring the area. Would stay here again!

This apartment is located in a wonderful setting, just a few minutes walk from the village. The hostess is charming and welcoming and the access to the pool and terrace is a terrific feature. The apartment is a bit dark, which could be readily solved with more and better light fixtures. The hostess pointed out to us on our arrival that the overhead fixture did not work. Wifi was totally lacking during our stay. Some other reviews had indicated that the apartment was clean - I think we may have been there on an off-week. Though the bathroom was clean, much of the rest of the apartment was dusty with a distinct musty odor. With wifi working, the lighting improved and a better cleaning, this apartment would easily rate a 4+.

This is probably the toughest Airbnb review I ever wrote. The house and the host are wonderful and truly unique. But I really can't recommend the studio listed here. It's dark, small and overpriced. Look at the Garden Villa instead if it fits your budget.

I stayed with my mom in Hoppy's studio. We had an amazing time! The studio was absolutely beautiful and provided everything we needed. The pool area was gorgeous and had a magnificent view. Hoppy was more than accommodating and provided everything we needed. She even made us reservations at a wonderful restaurant for our first night. We were sad to leave such a beautiful town, wonderful airb&b and gracious kind host. Thank you Hoppy!!!

Loved the decoration and the pool area was heaven. A great location to be able to wander into Menerbes and walk up to the church. A lovely walk down the hill to the boulangerie every morning. Parking opposite very convenient.

I am a lover of travel and exotic treasures (textiles, whimsical objects, antiques, paintings). I love to create, whether by painting houses, stitching curtains or cushions, or creating an installation. Naturally, I love to cook, especially after going to one of the numerous open markets here in Provence. Not to mention the choice of wine! Lucky me--I have lived in the US, Venezuela, Barbados and France. and as a result speak 3 languages. My homes in France were created for my family, and so they are comfortable, warm and charming. I have lived in Provence for for over 14 years.
