Pros: Location was perfect for my job search. Decent bed. Midway between Charlotte and Raleigh. Irving and Denise are nice. Cons: Not suitable for multiple airbnb guests. The walls are super thin, so I could hear everything. My first Friday there, the other guest decides to pack at 3am on saturday morning. So from 3 -5 am, I could hear everything from footsteps to zipper closings to door slamming. The next Thursday he was in town, he coughed loudly all night. The bathroom was also next to my room so I could hear everything (including hacking mucus while in the shower) at 6am. Not a wonderful experience to wake up to every morning. Especially when you're job searching. I'm not really sure how often the bathroom was cleaned, but hearing the hacking every morning definitely didn't make me feel clean in the shower. Parking is also on the side of the driveway. Sometimes, I had to park against tree branches (hopeful my car didn't get badly scratched) and when I'm lucky to get the spot, park on grass, sinking tires into mud when it rained but it's better than against a tree!!
This place is nestled in a quiet corner of Kernersville with easy access to Winston-Salem or Greensboro. It's not exactly what I expected, but that's not a bad thing. I never actually got to meet Salomon, which was a surprise. The owners of the house, who live there btw, are the ones who checked me in. Irving and Denise are their names and they are very pleasant and accommodating. They also are private and respect your privacy as well, which is like having roommates that you hardly ever see. It is very clean and convenient. I stayed here for over a month and I would highly recommend it to anyone who asks.
I was very welcomed. They helped me feel at home and whenever I needed anything, they were prompt to provide right away. The place was PERFECT and clean. The neighborhood was very nice. Staying there really made my stay relaxing, enjoyable, quiet, welcoming and the best time I've had in a long time! Thank you so so much!!
