We booked the cabin pretty much last minute for the Easter long weekend. Baeleay was extremely fast to answer all my questions, didn't mind a late check in and even offered to let us stay at the cabin until our ferry left, which was late afternoon. The area is very nice, residential, but very close to Welcome beach and Smuggler's Cove (which is a park with a great walking/hiking trail). The cabin was very clean, equipped with everything we needed and we had the choice of either sleeping downstairs on the fold-out sofa (from Ikea, very comfy) or to sleep in the loft. We chose the second option, because of the beautiful skylight right above the bed, but like another reviewer mentioned, the stairs to the loft are pretty steep and require some care when going up/down. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The little touches of having good coffee (both beans, and ground, and the electric grinder!), jams and butter in the fridge are what differentiate great airbnb experiences from average ones. We got to use the Finnish woodfired sauna and it was a very serene experience. We would love to come back to this beautiful place.

Baeleay's place was beautiful and unique. It was secluded, but still close to many trails and the beach. Baeleay was warm and pleasant when we arrived. We enjoyed using the sauna and the house was well-equipped. Thanks, Baeleay!

We loved staying at Baeleay's cabin. We came for a writing retreat, and it was a peaceful, healing, wonderful week for us. Baeleay respected our privacy, but we decided to get to know her better, and we are so glad we did! We had some great conversations and even decided to get Ortho-Bionomy sessions with her while we were there. If we go back out that way, we will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here. A quirky little cabin in the woods. We found the wood burning stove a good way to warm the cabin up in near zero conditions outside. The climb up and down to the loft is very steep and a requires some dexterity so be warned. A lovely touch was the three deer wandering about before we left.

Our stay here was short but perfect. Baeleay was delightful and more than accomodating, sharing some delicious homemade stew on New Year's Day. The space is cozy and full of character, all around great experience!

Quiet rustic little cottage and very comfortable. Short walk down to the ocean. Within driving distance to numerous hiking trails. Lovely, scenic area.
