My house is close to the ocean, the river and all town amenities. You have a spacious private bedroom, your own bathroom, use of the kitchen and lounge room, laundry, and the lovely courtyard. The house is light and airy.

The space
My house is filled with natural light, with a relaxed atmosphere. The living area is a good size, with a homely vibe (and quiet neighbours).

All the main areas are shared. I'm at work 5 days per week and not here a lot. You're encouraged to make yourself at home, help yourself to tea/coffee, TV, music (and any books you see lying around). The kitchen is well equipped, so don't be shy to rummage the pots and pans. Meals are not included.

The listing is for one person, although I am happy to consider a case by case basis for another, so send me a message. This cost will be $120.00 per night, for two people. All spaces are shared. I don't have any pets.

Your room is off the street. There will be linen on the comfortable bed, a lamp, clock radio, coat hangers in the cupboard and a towel/washer for you to use.

The bedroom has a ceiling fan for the summer and an electric blanket in the winter. The bedroom gets the afternoon sun, but not in a bad way.

In your bathroom there is shampoo, conditioner and body wash/soap, for your use. If you require a hairdryer, just ask and I'll grab it for you. The ironing board is set up for easy use.

There is a laundry for your use, if required. I do ask that you follow the recommendations for the washing machine and use of detergent. I'm happy to show you how to use it.

There is ample street parking and this is safe.

Ballina has a variety of restaurants including Indian, French, Thai, contemporary, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, etc. There are great coffee shops and cafes, as well, and a range of pubs for pub meals. The closest supermarket is across the bridge in the heart of town.

Lennox Head, Alstonville, Lismore, Evans Head, Newrybar, Bangalow, Byron Bay and Mullumbimby are close by, as well as lots of small villages, and easy to get to by car.

The local cinema is close by, as well as the outdoor swimming pool, local library and excellent beaches.

During your stay

I have a pretty busy life, though I do enjoy relaxing at home. Happy to fill you in on local spots, or leave you to it completely.

Because I am quite busy, there is a chance we'll have to make an arrangement for the key drop off. Just let me know your ETA and we'll sort it out.

I like to have friends over sometimes, they're all very lovely and I'll check with you beforehand - you're welcome to join us (we're a good bunch). Friends will pop in unexpectedly.
