You are only 2 minutes walk away from the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, and less than 10 minutes from the Canal de l'Ourcq and Canal St Martin .
The nearest metro station (7 min on foot) is Colonel Fabien (line 2) or Belleville (lines 2 and 11) or Jaurès (lines 2 and 5).

Aude is extremely easy to communicate with and always responded quickly and helpfully. The studio is just as pictured and the street is lovely and very calm. My only word of caution is for people who have trouble with stairs: the apartment is accessible by a road that is not too steep, but the easier and faster access is by a choice of three somewhat long, steep staircases. This makes the neighborhood all the more charming, but might be tough on some people's knees. However, if you are up for the climb, I would absolutely advice booking this place. It's very sweet and a great deal for the size and location.

The appartment is in a really nice neighbourhood, very quiet and beautiful. It is very nice also to be on a little hill- you have to climb some steps all the time, but if you walk from the flat to the end of the street you see Sacré Coeur and over half Paris! I especially like this area of Paris: on the one side you got a huge parc (Buttes Chaumont) on the other side the Canal Saint Martin. There is Belleville with good bars, art galleries, chinese food and markets. The appartment itsef is very cosy and not as dark as you would expect from ground level. Also it is organised very intelligently, so it seams bigger than it is! Aude is a very nice and helpful host. Everything was perfectly fine!

I lived in this studio for 5 months, while being an Erasmus student in Paris, and the overall experience was great. Aude has always been very helpful, and communicating with her was fine. The studio is located in a very charming and special spot in Paris, the Butte Bergeyre, with the park Buttes Chaumont right next to your door, which is one of the nicest parks in Paris! Belleville, a lively and multicultural neighbourhood, is in a 10 min. walking distance, with lots of interesting restaurants around. There's also a public swiming pool nearby and the Canal St Martin is not so far away. The neighbourhood is silent and you feel like you're in a small village. The only critic I could make about the studio is that it doesn't have much natural light (but I was there in winter). The apartment, on the ground floor, has only one window facing the sidewalk, meaning that if you open it you can lose your privacy. And: if you don't own a car and don't like climbing stairs, this is definitely not a place for you, since the studio is located on the top of a hill. Otherwise I would recommend it!
