Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
This rustic space is perfect for a weekend getaway, year round.

Close to ski hills, nature trails and the quaint town of Orangeville the Carriage house will provide you the authentic feel of our iconic cabin in the woods with the sophistication and comforts of your personal retreat for the weekend.

The interior design is eclectic, funky and perfectly contrasts the rustic charm of the 140 year old, hand cut wooden beams and the overall log cabin environment.

The space
The Carriage house is set on 15 of the most beautiful acres in Mono, minutes from Orangeville.

The space is surrounded by many windows, has three walk outs and a skylight, and a wood burning stove during the chilly seasons.

There are privacy curtains on all of the upstairs windows.

To let the outside in we have not installed curtains on all the main level windows other than the back patio door.

There is a queen size Tempur-Pedic bed in the loft.

Equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee/tea bar.

Guests also have access to trails on the property, as well as a fully equipped gym.

There is satellite TV, Smart TV and WiFi if you wish to chill with technology.

***Please read "Guest access" below about kitchen use.***

Guest access
Guests will have access to the shared kitchen in the main Victorian House.

Please be mindful of your cook time to allow other guests equal opportunity at kitchen use during meal times. Please clean up after yourself, including dishes, as a courtesy to other guests.

Guests also have access to trails on the property, as well as a fully equipped gym.

Other things to note
The Cabin is not included in the standard listing but an upgrade is available for $200 on weekdays and $300 on weekends :-).

It is important that you have past experience and feel comfortable operating a wood stove. The wood stove is the main source of heat in the Carriage house where safety and preservation of this 140 year old landmark is critical.

Please note 13% HST is included in all pricing.

***Disclaimer: Please note that the number of guests must not exceed the guest allowance stated in the listing. If it is discovered that you have exceeded the maximum number of guests, your stay will be cancelled and you will be asked to leave.***
