Nice and light apartment located in the cozy area Østerbro, close to cafes, shopping etc.
The apartment is ok nice but located at 30 mn from the center of Copenhagen. You need to take the bus to get there. No bathroom but it seems that it is common… You have to take your shower in the wc. No closets in the apartment which is not very convenient to put your clothes. Mona was not in Copenhagen and nobody could give us the keys. Finally she sent us an address by sms to get the keys in a "locker", in the street, about 20 mn walking distance from the apartment. I wouldn't recommend this apartment.
Response from Mona:
Obviously a guest who is no familiar with Airbnb and the fact that you stay privately in other peoples' home and respect that. You changed your arrival time 3 time and gave me no chance to arrange. The key was in a locker 5 minutes away from the apartment so I don't know which way you walked to get there? You are the first of my guests who did not seem to understand to concept of Airbnb. The photos of the apartment looks exactly as the apartment is (also of the toilet) so maybe you should look more carefully at the photos before booking an apartment. In general you might need to stay at a hotel the next time which would be more appropriate as for your many requests.
Mona's place is located in a quiet family friendly area. Easy to commute to city centre and there are some good restaurants near by. I never met Mona in person but she was so quick in her response to any queries. I was able to book her place at the last minute, extend my stay and make flexible check-in and checkout because of her quick and kind responses. As my office is close by it was a convenient place for a temporary stay. Only thing you might think a bit difficult on the first day is the tiny shower area which seems to be a feature of old Copenhagen houses; at least I did think but I got used to it :). I would recommend to this place to anyone who would like to stay close to city centre and who also enjoy a quiet neighbourhood
