Perfectly positioned on Aldinga Beach’s iconic Esplanade, this architecturally designed retreat blends Californian modernism with relaxed Australian coastal living, creating a luxurious space to unwind, reconnect, and experience the very best of the Fleurieu.
The space
Just 45 minutes from Adelaide and only 10 minutes to McLaren Vale’s world-renowned wineries, Reef House offers the rare combination of absolute beachfront living, uninterrupted ocean views, and resort-style luxury with a stunning mineral pool, heated to 32 degrees all year round.
From the moment you arrive, the home’s sleek Palm Springs–inspired exterior and lush landscaping set the tone for an unforgettable stay. Step upstairs into the stunning open-plan living space where raked ceilings, warm neutral tones and floor-to-ceiling glass frame uninterrupted views of the turquoise reef and sparkling coastline.
This space was designed for connection — long lunches, sunset drinks, and slow evenings watching the ocean change colours as the sun dips below the horizon. It’s not uncommon to spot dolphins gliding past or little fishing boats drifting by while you relax on the expansive balcony.
In winter, Reef House becomes a cosy coastal sanctuary. Spend the day exploring wineries before curling up beside the gas fireplace with a glass of McLaren Vale Shiraz as the sky turns pink over the sea.

For the kids ~ a portacot and highchair is available at the house. Please bring along a cot sheet. A stair gate is installed at the top and bottom of the stairs so you can relax with little ones around :) The pool is fully fenced.
All bed linens, bath towels and pool towels are provided! We also provide a Coolcabana beach shade for beach days.
Basic kitchen amenities are provided, aswell as luxurious bathroom products. The house has a bean coffee machine. We provide fresh beans to get you started, please bring along your favourite milk. Our local Foodland is a 2min drive away and has everything you'll need!
