What a wonderful place! My fiancé and I stopped here on a road trip and had a fantastic stay. The place was even better than described. We brought our bikes and were able to bike everywhere we wanted to go from Kathleen's (including the St. Lawrence Market, the distillery district, and Harbourfront Center). Public transit was easy to downtown, and Leslieville itself has some great restaurants/bars and is very walkable. We stored our bikes easily in their backyard. Parking was easy to find, but you have to remember to move your car from one side of the street to the other based on the time. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to prepare a delicious dinner to have at the house. The bedroom was so comfortable and we both slept great! I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again myself if I find myself in Toronto!

Kathleen & Geoff's place is an excellent lodging choice. We especially appreciated the laundry facilities. Because of its location in the "alley", it is quiet and secluded. Kathleen communicated quickly before and during our stay. It is close to Queen Street which has mass transit and multiple choices of restaurants and shops. We used the bike rental program; two stations are a short walk away. If you are driving, be sure to ask about parking restrictions on the street. Kathleen helped us with this and we had no problems with the parking. Check out the guidebooks in the listing, as they are helpful in deciding what to do while visiting the city. Thank you for a great stay in Toronto.

Parking can be little tricky but manageable. Other than that, Kathleen's place is perfect for small families, located in a quiet neighbourhood with everything you need within 5 minutes of drive such as super markets, starbucks, breakfast, etc. We enjoyed complete privacy but yet the host was always click away to make sure our comfy stay. Thanks Kathleen.

Street parking can be a bit limited, but the neighborhood is great, Kathleen was amazing, and I fully intend to use her place for future visits to Toronto.

The Alley House is very cozy and artistically designed. It has all the facilities we could think of. The rooms and linens are super clean. Kathleen is a wonderful host. Check-in/out was very easy, and communication with her was really smooth and personal. She also offered us great advices on parking and traveling around. Definitely recommend!

Our family.
I am a visual art teacher, and lover of getting outside. Geoff is an architect, and probably one of the calmest people you'll ever meet. We have two little guys, three years, and five months, who keep our hands and hearts full all the time! Our ol' pooch, Bodhi, is a relaxed and loving guy.

Our thing.
We love going on adventures, making things with our hands and imaginations and slowing down when ever we can. Travel has changed for us in recent years, but when we can we enjoy spending longer stretches in one place to get into the life and landscape more deeply.
When we are home we enjoy working to improve the place, trying always to strike the balance between liveability and look.
