Enjoy everything PEC has to offer from the convenience of Consecon. Only minutes away from wineries such as Hinterland and Rosehall, as well as beaches, wilderness trails and local artists. This property is 2 acres, yet small general store, LCBO and Beer Store a short walk away. This is a guest suite in a house with a separate entrance, private bathroom, kitchenette, access to BBQ and back yard, as well as a tv/appletv/netflix. Atticus the dog and I live on the property.

The space
*Note* we are currently working with a contractor to fix the steps by the paved drive, the rest of the drive is gravel and can get muddy *
Separate entrance takes you into a mud room with closet, from which you turn left to enter into your huge private bathroom with large soaker tub and shower. Large Bedroom suite offers queen bed, armchair, large dresser for storage, tv/appletv, and kitchenette includes a small fridge, coffee maker, kettle, hot plate, toaster oven, microwave and plenty of pots, pans, plates and cutlery. Just enough to warm up leftovers or make an easy breakfast before hitting the winery trail. Shared access to the backyard includes access to BBQ and patio furniture.

Guest access
Free access to everything in your suite as well as shared access (with us) to backyard and BBQ. Let us know if you need anything (kitchen utensils/extra towels/toilettries) we'd be happy to help you out!

Other things to note
There is a large dog that lives on the property, he's a rescue and can be a little anxious and apprehensive, so we tend to monitor his interactions with people and other dogs. He's lovely, we just ask that you check in with us before attempting to befriend him.

Mornings are early in the County, we usually start ours at about 7:00. We try to be quiet, but will be puttering about so you may hear us making coffee or taking the dog out.

Our dog doesn't hang out in the suite at all, but we are pet friendly, so multiple dogs have stayed there. If you have allergies it may not be the best place for you.

This is a century home, it was built around 1915, so although we clean the suite a LOT... two minutes later there will be dust. Century homes seem to have secret passage ways for dust and there's not much you can do about it, however please feel free to let us know about any issues and we will try our best to fix them. Again, if you have allergies this may not be the best place for you.

Consecon, Ontario, Canada

Over 10 wineries within a 10 minute drive (including Redtail, Rosehall Run, Hinterland, The Grange and Stanners) North Beach is beautiful and only a 5 minute drive away. Millennium Trail is nearby and shows beautiful views of Consecon Lake.

Consecon has no real dine-in restaurants at the moment, however there’s great take out pizza just up the street at Stratos. You can dine there, but it’s not licensed. There is a corner store with grocery and toiletry basics, Beer Store and LCBO, which is super handy. Post Office, Library, and a Legion can also be found in town, the legion is open and often has live music on the weekends. Hoping for licensed restaurant this summer.... we'll keep you posted.

Wellington is a 10 minute drive away and has great little restaurants such as the Drake Devonshire, Midtown Brewing, East and Main, La Condesa, Idle Wild and Enid Grace Cafe.

Bloomfield has Flame + Smith and Bloomfield Public House, both are great.
Most wineries start around Hillier, only 5-10 minutes away, and many wineries have food options as well.

During your stay
We live in the house but work multiple jobs so aren't around a lot, however we are available via phone and email anytime.

If we are around, we can sometimes be found lounging on the back deck, and have been occasionally known to share the secrets of the county over a glass of wine. If we're out there, feel free to chat us up about life, food and tasty fermented beverages. :)

We tend to give our guests space to come and go as they please, we just ask that you try to be quiet after 10pm as there are shared walls.
