There were other guests,as well as us sleeping-it was 2.45 am- and we heard doors opening and closing around 8 times, and noisy phone discussion which had the consequence of waking us up, as well as the other guests.
You need to realize this is not a hotel but a house, and at this time of the night you need to respect absolute silence.
I had to ask you to stop talking loud on the phone, I do not see how I could have done differently.
Sorry to read you felt that was rude, I do not think that was the case, and when I apologized for having knocked at your door (but having had no other choice left) the day you checked out, you told me you understood and that was no pb.
Then it would have been more correct on your side to inform us before booking that you would be back so late at night.
We also were pretty easy with your last minute booking after your reservation had been canceled.
So to conclude, your remark seems to me irrelevant and kind of unfair.
