Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
Start your day with a homemade breakfast delivered to your door or prepared at your leisure with ingredients provided. Spend your day exploring the famous Rocky Mountains or walking to Cochrane's historic downtown, then snuggle up by the fireplace or bask on the garden-side patio at this exceptionally-crafted, intimate oasis.

The tiny house is situated in our large backyard and has been designed for everyone's privacy, including your own sidewalk that connects you to your parking.

The space
The queen bed comfortably accommodates two adults. The daybed couch and reading loft can be converted to small sleeping spaces for up to two children as well. An additional charge of $15 per child requiring a breakfast applies.
Beyond the small-footprint size, several features make the tiny house lighter on the earth including passive solar design, an earthen floor, and creative use of salvaged materials.

Guest access
Dedicated B&B parking is in the back alley with a private sidewalk connecting you to the tiny house. I'll greet you in person, introduce you to the tiny house, and then it's all yours!

Other things to note
A choice of two breakfast options will be offered prior to arrival (one choice per party) and it will be delivered to your tiny house door at an agreed-upon time. New breakfast options will be offered each day. It's also possible to have the tiny house stocked with some breakfast ingredients if you'd prefer to make your own.

Beyond the small footprint, we incorporated several sustainable and natural features into the tiny house including passive solar design, an earthen floor, and salvaged materials.

I love to get outside and try to embrace all weather - though if the sun's not shining, I'm just as happy to cozy up with a warm drink and a book by the woodstove! I love discovering wild edibles and coaxing other edibles from my home gardens. Food (especially whole foods), reading good books, discovering new music, and stimulating discussions are all passions of mine. I think bicycles are the most beautiful invention! I'm fascinated and inspired by people and communities who are doing things a little differently and aim to live my own life in a rich and regenerative way.
