This is a place where it's easy to slow down.
Some mornings begin with coffee on the patio. Others with a quiet walk through the meadow. Either way, there's no hurry.
Outside has a way of becoming part of the day.
Maison Roméo is one of two thoughtfully positioned cabins on our four-acre hillside, each with its own entrance and outdoor living spaces.
The space
Maison Roméo is named after my grandfather, whose warmth and quiet way of welcoming people continue to inspire every stay.
Whether the day leads you out exploring or invites you to slow down, somehow, both feel like enough.
Floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping views across the Missisquoi River Valley and Vermont's Green Mountains. Cathedral ceilings, natural materials, and Scandinavian simplicity create a calm place to unwind.
What makes Roméo special is its connection to the landscape.
A black locust walkway leads to the cabin, where a private stone patio becomes another living space. Made for slow breakfasts, afternoon reading, long lunches, and evenings around the fire, it invites you to spend as much time outdoors as inside.
A parasol creates welcome shade on warm summer afternoons, while the outdoor shower invites you to linger outside just a little longer.
Inside, a record player and a curated collection of vinyl invite slower evenings. Put on one of your favourite albums—or one of ours—pour a drink, play a board game, or simply watch the changing light settle over the valley.
The private king bedroom features premium linens, a comfortable king bed, and the kind of restful sleep guests often tell us is one of the highlights of their stay.
The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with coffee, tea, popcorn, local maple syrup, and everything you'll need to enjoy your stay.
Whether you're grilling on the Weber BBQ, gathering around the fire pit after sunset, or ending the evening beneath a sky full of stars, Roméo has a way of making time feel pleasantly unhurried.

From Roméo’s balcony, you’ll see the east side of Alice, while each cabin has its own entrance and outdoor living spaces.
