Annick was absolutely wonderful and was the perfect host. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was excellent. Annick had gone shopping and picked up some local items for us to eat and it was all amazing! She also took the time to go through a map with us and tell us some tips and tricks on the city and made restaurant recommendations. Annick is such a warm and welcoming person and made us feel at home immediately upon arrival. Now regarding the apartment, it is such a cute and cozy place with all the essentials. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The location is great and easily accessible by metro to get anywhere in Paris. The neighbourhood is hip and trendy with many shopping and eating options. When I come back to Paris I will definitely try to stay here again!

We stayed in this apartment for six nights. There were both pros and cons to our stay, I'll list them here. The main pros: - The apartment is quite big, but still warm and cozy. - The kitchen is well-equipped. - The bed is very comfortable! Also, the curtains in the main bedroom are quite good in blocking out the light. The apartment was very quiet during the evening and night. - A very good washing machine. - The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and in a central location of Paris. - The metro station is super-close (a BIG advantage!). Also, there were at least two supermarkets very close-by. - There are many restaurants very close-by. In fact, one of the best restaurants we ate in during our trip was about one minute walk from the apartment! - The host was very well-arranged with explanations - there was a whole booklet in the apartment including explanations regarding supermarkets in the area, restaurants, etc. Also, even though we never got to meet her - she was very available via emails and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). The main cons: - To be fair - I'm sure it was written in the description and we just didn't notice - but we were quite disappointed to see there was no television in the apartment. Another thing that was written but I still think it's important to point out is the fact it's on the 4th floor with no elevator. It was only a big deal with the suitcases, but other than that it wasn't so bad. - The shower was somewhat problematic - it constantly switched between hot and cold water, so you had to keep navigating between them about every ten seconds. - At the time we were there (the beginning of October 2017) the upstairs neighbors were renovating their apartment, which woke us up with drilling and banging in the mornings. To be fair, we tend to sleep quite late - so for us, being woken up at 8:30-9:00 with drilling and banging was quite a discomfort. Perhaps early-risers wouldn't be so bothered by it, but for us, it was really problematic, and we think this is something we should have been told of in advance. To sum up, we liked the apartment, and if there hadn't been renovations at the time of our stay, our experience would have been nearly perfect.

Annick's apartment is very cozy and well equipped. We've enjoyed our stay a lot, and the communication was flawless. Annick has prepared a comprehensive guide to restaurants, shops etc. and was available for all our questions. The neighbourhood is lively (but the street itself is quiet), a typical parisian one. We highly recommend it!

A lovely, well-equipped place in a fantastic neighborhood in the real Paris. Annick is a great host; we had everything we needed and then some. Comfy beds, lots of light, even cool during some hot days due to good cross-ventilation. Merci mille fois!!

A beautiful, comfortable, welcoming place filled with art and treasures of travel and colorful beauty everywhere you look! Annick met me at the apartment and we had tea and cookies and a wonderful conversation. She is kind and helpful, and had everything prepared for my stay. The place is spotless and has great windows for cross breeze even on a few 90 degree days. You really feel like you are in Paris in every room and looking out every window. Everything you need for a lovely time in Paris. I stayed for 7 weeks - the neighborhood is quirky and fun, And also safe. République with the M5, 3, 8, 9 is very close. Monoprix ❤️and other supermarkets are around the corner. As a New Yorker, this was a perfect place with access to anywhere in Paris! A feeling of coming home every night when I put my key in the door. Thank you, Annick - for your home, your kindness and our wonderful talks! I wish you all the best always and hope to return to your place again! Merci pour tout! Lots of love, Evy

Absolutely lovely stay in a perfect and homely Parisian apartment. The area is central and the attractions are only a short metro or bus ride away, but the area gives one a true sense of what it is like to live like the locals. Beautiful local cafes, restaurants, cheesemongers and pattisterries are seconds from the door. Annick is a wonderful host and gives invaluable knowledge of the area. We would love to stay again and recommend this apartment very highly. Thank you Annick!
