Ndahafa was very kind and her apartment is located in an incredible part of Paris. Close to great vintage shopping. Walking distance from wonderful bars and restaurants. It was a lively and fun area.
I will say outside of this I had a hard time with the place. It pains me to say because Ndahafa herself was so sweet. The towels were not clean, in fact they smelled very bad. The floor was filthy, my feet turned black every time I walked on it. The sheets on the bed were full of dust. I was also a bit upset because Ndahafa, despite being very nice, was not good at scheduling the check in and check out. The night before I was supposed to check in she asked me to postpone it by a day-which I could not do on such short notice. The day before check in she also said, after agreeing through AIR BNB that I could bring my dog, that pets were not allowed in the apartment. Again this was stipulated the day before check-in which made me worried I would arrive at an apartment only to be kicked out. When I did finally check in, she stated the dog was fine (which her AIR BNB page also mentions is a pet-friendly apartment, something I specifically looked for when booking). Finally, when checking out I scheduled with her days in advanced to confirm a time that worked for both of us. Ten minutes before she was supposed to arrive to check me out and take the keys she asked if I could wait one hour for her to arrive. I could not, hence why I scheduled with her days in advanced.
Ultimately, it was a great area of Paris, however I was a bit upset by the dirty apartment and the bad communication. Ndahafa was very kind and responsive during my stay. Truly, she is a very nice person, but I still felt a little blind sighted by the experience.
