This cottage is the perfect place to stay for a vacation in Canterbury. All amenities listed were there as stated. The cottage was exceptionally clean and extremely well furnished with comfortable sofa and beds. The cottage is only about 7 minutes to the Canterbury East Railway station and the local bus stop just around the corner. If visitors do not have a car I recommend the purchase of a one week Megarider bus pass. With this pass one can travel the complete area around Canterbury including Dover, Folkstone, Whitstable. Herne etc. The buses are clean, on time and the drivers are excellent and courteous. We had a great stay.

My friend and I stayed in Barbara's home for a weekend away in Canterbury. The house is a quick five to ten minute walk into town, and a very easy walk from Canterbury West station. The house is comfortable with all necessary creature comforts accounted for. The kitchen is impressively well stocked. The garden was very lovely, and I'll just have to come back for longer/in the summer/with kids to make full use of that lovely space. A great stay, would recommend!

Barbara's cottage is even lovelier than it looks in the pictures. The garden is a peaceful haven as is the cottage generally. The location is perfect within easy walking distance of the city. And Barbara is a wonderful host. Highly, highly recommended. Thank you for a great stay.

I'm Argentinian living in the UK for 6 years mostly in London and in Canterbury in the last 2 years with my partner Tom and our friendly cat Punch. I'm very sociable and like meeting new people so I thought Airbnb hosting would be worth trying. Whether you are willing to share travel experiences or if you want to relax and explore, I'll make sure you feel like at home.
