The space

This is a basement apt to a full time resident above who is quiet.
Wood stove is comfy and nice for drying gear but you dont have to use it. 2) pull out couches. Youll need to move one to use both in pull out mode.
Don't worry about walking inside with your ski boots or snowy shoes on.

During the summer relax in an adarondak chair and watch the hummingbirds during the day or listen to the owls at night.

Guest access

Parking on site close to door
Please limit cars to no more than 2. If more than two, some may have to park on the street.

Interaction with guests

I know the area well and can recommend dining, and trails. If you need a last minute ski or board tune, I can most likely help you out there as well as I tune and repair for the ski patrol to help them raise money for their relief fund.

Other things to note

I have stocked with many typical spices. There is a Kurig machine with some cups. I also will grind a couple cups worth of what I've been drinking and will label what it is, for the K cup filter.
There are five bars and several restaurants ranging from pizza, deli, pub to fancy French cuisine within walking distance if you miss the bus.
During the summer it is a nice ealk to the resort. Watch the fireworks.
Snow shoe and nike/run trails are 500' down the road and well marked. I have several sets of snowshoes for your use. Bring a headlamp if you have one as walking at night is kinda nice around here.
If you have sleds and like sledding, I can direct you to a spot within walking distance. Ice skating rink in town and a cross country ski area.

Mike's apartment is privately located on the bottom floor of the main house. It's situated in a beautiful location next to the ski resort. It definitely has a "ski shack" feeling and is a little rough around the edges. Everything was clean, but just a bit outdated. Good place to stay if you need a cozy accommodation after skiing, but definitely not something you'd want for a romantic weekend trip.

Lots of care put into this beautiful home. Quiet, clean, and great location tucked up in the mountain - perfect place to stay while we explored nearby activities. We'll have to come back sometime in the winter!

Mike is a superb host and his ski shanty is of prime location (on the Mad River bus and under a 10m walk to the lifts). Safe, convenient, and with all your core amenities. Mike goes out of his way to make sure you're comfortable and is a flexible host. Would recommend for anyone visiting Sugarbush who intends to spend most of their time enjoying the ourdoors and needs safe, comfortable accommodations close to Sugarbush itself.

Greatly enjoyed my stay. Very close and accessible to Lincoln base area. Quiet and comfortable with a friendly host! Bonus points for fun ski memorabilia and knick knacks in and around the apt, a quaint and cozy atmosphere.

I live here because I love that huge pile of dirt called Lincoln Peak/Sugarbush down hill and at the end of the road. I'm an engineer by schooling, an entrepreneur by desire and skier and biker and outdoors by heart. Come share my playground.
