My modern, new apartment is conveniently located within short walking distance to the Queen Victoria Market, North Melbourne’s lovely village and surrounded by a number of charming local pubs, back street coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. With close proximity to Melbourne’s central business district and university/medical precinct, and easy access to public transport, the apartment makes for a wonderful city fringe stay.
The apartment is on the first floor of a newly built, architecturally designed, low rise building. Only 3 floors in total. As you open the front door you walk in to a large , bright open plan space with a state of the art modern kitchen with Smeg appliances and a large bar bench. For the eager cook or foodie, it's a wonderful kitchen to be creative and possibly get all your local produce from the nearby Queen Victoria Market.
The kitchen overlooks the living space that consists of a dining table (which can also be a good work space), a sofa and lounge chair facing the TV and book case. There is also a balcony for you to enjoy a little evening wine or morning coffee. A European style laundry houses the washing machine and dryer, and there is compact, modern, clean bathroom with shampoos and body wash. The bedroom is bright and spacious and looks out to the balcony with some partial city views from the floor to ceiling window. The bedroom has a brand new queen size bed and is made up with 100% cotton sheets and duvet cover. The apartment also has beautiful light bamboo flooring in the living area, chic grey tiles in the bathroom and lovely carpet in the bedroom.
Guests have access to everything the apartment offers. There is a car space below in the basement which is accessible via the lift. We provide coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, salt, pepper, milk and bread to get you started on your stay.
Interaction with guests
Michael and I leave our guest to enjoy their trip and offer complete privacy. Obviously, we are contactable 24/7 should there be any maintenance issues in the apartment or should a guest have any queries or questions.
Our guests are our number 1 priority.
Other things to note
The apartment is connected to the NBN - the fastest broadband network (internet) in Australia.
The car space is always available for our guests.
The next tram stop on Peel Street (south towards the city; stop #10) is in the Free Tram Zone, so we recommend our guests walk 200 metres to that stop and use the wonderful free inner city public transport.
