Overall this was a very nice place to stay. The neighborhood looks a bit rough/older from the outside, but we never had any problems; and the renovations to the house made it feel very new and welcoming. The house is less than 2 miles from the quarter, and we were able to Uber there and back for under $7 per ~10 minute ride.
The house was clean, the beds were made, location was easy to get to, and the included amenities were nice. The coffee maker in the morning was definitely a blessing, and nice to have without having to leave the house. Other than a few possible suggestions to note in the listing below, this was a nice place to stay.
A couple things to note:
- The house was listed as 2 bedroom which is true, however, one bedroom has a door, and the other does not. These two bedrooms are also connected by a large doorway between them that also has no door, so privacy was a bit lacking.
- If you are staying for a few days or more and want to cut down on eating out expenses, its nice to have a fridge, stove, etc. to prepare meals. There were plenty of cups, plates, and silverware, which was awesome, however, there wasn't a pan/pot to cook with. If I had known in advance, I would have brought a few pans.
